Weekend staycation
We booked 4 rooms for a 2 night stay and were accommodated properly by the hotel staff. Breakfast buffet was okay and had a different menu each day.. our overall stay was plesant.

Friendly and efficient service. They were very helpful about calling taxis and the breakfast was pretty good. But the area is quite far away from the city center.

A decent hotel in a decent area
This was my first time visiting Jakarta. I arrived at the hotel around 11pm and the staff were welcoming and waiting for me. the bag person helped me with my bags and got me settled into the hotel. the room was a bit rundown and dated but the cost for the room reflected. The wifi was reliable and the food in the complimentary breakfast was delicious.

Pleasant Stay.
Old hotel. Room is spacious. Mattresses were a bit too soft for my back. Wifi was strong in the lobby but weak in the room. Breakfast was average. On the whole it was okay for the price .

The location is good. There is a convenience store just outside the hotel. The food at breakfast buffet was good, lot of choices. It’s hard to communicate to some staff due to language but they are nice and approachable. They even volunteer to call a taxi if you needed one.

Simple hotel with sufficient facilities
Room was a comfortable size with a bar fridge, safe and a flat screen TV. The bed is pretty comfortable and the door staff is very helpful in helping to book taxi and with luggage. Hotel reception speaks English.

Took Blue Bird taxi from airport and the driver could not find the hotel so drove in circles for 4 dollars worth. Nearest BRT (bus rapid transport) station Mangea Dua is 2 km away and the hotel runs a free transfer service there. You leave 2 min after asking for a shuttle. Decent breakfast. Staff very helpful. Agreed to keep our suitcase during 2 weeks while we travel around Java lightweight. Room spacious. Bed and pillow very comfortable. Great stay. Downside is the drainage: water stands in sink and shower for 12 hours and it's a bit smelly.

The room I selected was non-smoking but clearly the previous guest had ignored that. The room still smelled like cigarette smoke, unfortunately. Everything else was comfortable and clean, if old.

Decent hotel, not the greatest location in Jakarta
Our 3-night stay at the Orchardz Jayakarta Hotel was fine, and good value for the money, particularly with inclusion of the breakfast buffet, which was excellent. However, the location of the hotel was not very central to sights we wanted to see, or to transportation we needed to use via Gambir Station. Jakarta itself is not a very tourism-friendly city being very spread out, so that we found ourselves having to take many taxis and ojeks to get around to the old town in Kuta, other attractions downtown, etc. -- sometimes with mixed and humorous results, e.g., delivery to the wrong hotel by an ojek driver who spoke as good English as we spoke Bahasa Indonesia! We weren't able to find any useful tourism information about the local bus service, so were not able to make use of it. Fortunately meter taxis are relatively inexpensive (use Blue Bird -- only 150,000 IDR to the airport from the hotel), just be certain to make sure your driver really understands where you want to go and be clear about the cost of using an ojek before getting on board.

Generally the condition of the hotel is good though its not strtegically located The only thing that matters is the impoliteness of the hotel staff right frm the receptionst, room svc and cafe. Non of them has a service standard and dont fit to be in d hotel industry except the porter who is polite and helpful. Anyway for such price there are many other hotels in jakarta so its not a big deal

My stay was okay. The hotel is older and it shows yet they staff does it's best to keep things clean in the general areas. The floor in my room wasn't as clean as I thought it should be but they did let me check in early so I was appreciative regardless. The breakfast was pretty good. There is a decent selection of food and drink. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The general location is okay as well. There's not much around if you want to walk to grab lunch or dinner outside of the hotel but taking a taxi, Mangga Dua Square is very close.

Nice hotel with karaoke and massage
Very nice hotel with attached karaoke facilities and massage. Karaoke has hostesses to entertain you and the massage facility is a straight up brothel. Good for businessmen I guess.

When I checked in , I tried to log into Wifi as soon as I reached, it wasn't working. The network just wouldn't connect to any of my devices. However after making two complains , i was asked to change the room, which seem to have a fairly good network compared to the other room. But still intermittent. The hotel Staff was very cooperative BUT they don't really have good English speaking skill. In fact its very bad enough that i had to use sign language. On the last day however, there was a power trip and it came back after like 6 hours and were offered a complimentary drink. Check out was fast and easy. Please be advised, there are NO big stores or shops around or restaurants. Unless you are OK to walk all the way to Nusa Dua Mall. Which was a 20 min walk. The foods was just the regular, not much variety. However the in room service was really nice and had more variety.
