Initially planned to stay from 19-25 February but had to check out on 23 February to return back to Singapore due to a family emergency. Duty manager Ms Rachel Tan was very helpful and we got a refund back from the hotel after Expedia raised a refund request. Repeated stays at the hotel as we are very happy with the service and will definitely choose Doubletree Hilton again for our next trip.

It is disappointing that after paying for a suite, Hilton still holds "free wifi" hostage by demanding you sign up for yet another loyalty program no one wants. No I do not want to join, I never did, and your competitor hotels do not engage in such invasive behavior.

No fault of Hilton’s, but with the ongoing construction around in the area, it's pretty hard to get around. During check in, we were given 2 warm cookies which was a nice touch. We were given a king sized room that was meant for the disabled so beware that the water can splash all over the bathroom and there could be more towels provided. The pillow linen didn't smell crisp, kinda a bit stale. But it's OK, we still slept well. We are open to staying here again nonetheless.

Great service and ease of check in. TV broke down but was quickly replaced, amenities like toothbrush and towels were not given according. We had access to executive lounge but have to go early for the pre-dinner drinks as we had to wait 30mins for available table. About 10mins walk from City Square & Komtar Other than that, excellent service from all the staff!

Great experience, great location
Great service, though check-in time was not as prompt as I expected. Nice welcome cookie! Also, the steam room was great! But towels need to stocked up more vigilantly. And the water dispenser too, both in the steam room and in the gym. Breakfast and lunch buffet was decent. Service was excellent. Spread was v good, and the vegetables and fruits were fresh. I loved the morning juice station!!! Would be nice to offer more nuts and seeds, as part of condiments. Thanks Hilton JB team!!

Convenient location and great service
Located about 10 mins walk from JB City Square Mall, location was good. Good view overlooking the causeway. Breakfast was great with a good selection of Western and Asian selection. Rooms were clean but the shower area in our room needs more attention. Can see signs of molding from moisture and if not maintained regularly can be an issue pretty quickly. Gym and pool were nice.

Good but breakfast & jacuzzi could be improved
All are good - new, clean, pleasant room, deli welcome cookie, good lounge and food. But breakfast wise - it could be better if there are more meats such as beef rendang or curry/Merak chicken to accompany Nasi lemak. Also jacuzzi water is not hot, and a guest wearing office pants and shirt in there as there are no staff looking after.
