Our stay was enjoyable. Great service from the excellent staff, great pool and beautiful gardens. However we booked this holiday here as it mentioned being family friendly. In most cases it is except for the incessant loud music at night. I mean loud live band every night until 10pm and loud music in the bar until 12AM. The band music is so loud it is clear as day through shut windows and doors on the other side of the resort. It was a real let down as we have young kids and they were usually tired from a busy day out. Was a shame to come back to loud music every night after the loud hustle and bustle of Kuta. We will stay elsewhere next time as not everyone wants to party every single night.

The overall place was an amazing place. Staff, food, cleanliness, great range of restaurants available onsite anf outside of hotel. The biggest downfall was the new nightclub next door to the hotel was very loud every night until early hours of the morning. We could hear the music and the bass of the music from inside oir room with doors closed and tv on. I feel for those that were closer than us and especially if they had children to gey to sleep.

We find Kartika Plaza a lovely place to stay. Staff are very friendly Hotel and rooms are very clean and tidy. The only improvement is the bathrooms could be renovated.

Close to every thing. Older rooms but we had a beautiful view of the pool and sea. Breakfast had everything you could ask for. Staff are amazing. Grounds are beautiful and kept spotless. Only complaint is they have private parties and conferences which are very noisey until about 11pm so not a quiet place. Also if you want a late check out they want half of the full night cost even for a few hours. I did not think this was good after inconveniencing us with very loud noise till late three nights of our ten night stay.

Liked everything about the hotel but when it comes to parking something should be done better especially guests that are staying at the hotel And hire a scooter like me and come and go 3/4 times a day and get a ticket getting it stamped every day before you leave is not convenient why don’t you introduce a one ticket system instead it will save allot of time

We stayed in an ocean facing Discovery Suite and it was AMAZING! Each of the 2 bedrooms had its own ensuite, 1 with a walk-in shower and the other with a shower/bath combination. Even though the ensuites had their own toilet's, there was a separate powder room too which when having 4 adults staying together is a brilliant idea. The rooms including the lounge were spacious, well maintained and cleaned daily. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and there was always plenty. The onsite restaurants make it easy to relax after a long day of sightseeing and the grounds are beautifully maintained.

Discovery Kartika is continuously evolving! They keep upgrading and improving their amenities and their grounds are always well kept. It is very self contained with its own restaurants and spa which means if you don’t want to leave, you don’t need to as it has it all. The staff are wonderful and although our favourite staff are no longer here, the ones who are still make you feel at home 🙏

Really nice grounds, pool and excellent breakfast. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. The singers in the nightly entertainment were not very good. Glad when they finished. We would be happy to stay again. No problems.

Service fantastic. Excellent butler ida. Food at pool bar was ordinary ie cold. Paid for a oceanfront villa and got a garden villa. Couldnt change for half the stay. They tried to make up with free airport tranfers. Overall a great stay. Overall

It’s a great place to acclimatize when you first arrive in Bali. Nice beach access to Kuta beach. Can get better deals with lower level rooms. Nice cultural dancers at breakfast performed by younger hotel staff persons. Excellent pool and recreation facilities for all the family.

This resort is fantastic. The staff are so friendly, staying at New Years was amazing to attend the glorious New Years Event they put on. The pool and pool bar are fantastic. The only two negatives I would say was that the spa services are quite expensive and the bed was a bit hard. Other than that though we couldn’t fault it and would definitely stay again.

Hotel is great, staff is very friendly. We appreciated the understanding of management when we needed to change our room due to a strong smell in the inital room but ee were moved. The nasi goreng kambing at the El Jardin was one of the best that we had. Highly recommended. Staff is very very nice.

I was impressed upon entering the property, maybe even excited. I paid $300 USD for 2 bedroom. Check in was at 2pm but the room wasn’t ready. I was only told “ sorry”. The resorts rooms were old and run down. The AC couldn’t get below 25c. The breakfast buffet was just ok. Maybe a good place for a party. But otherwise I wasn’t impressed.
