A very peaceful hotel to stay in Krabi, and especially if you love nature (leaf monkeys are regularly seen in the trees on the resort) and the hotel takes particular care to be environmentally friendly, using reusable containers , lots of recycling and the like. The honeymoon suits are nice, could use a bit more natural light in the room and are set high up the hill so be prepared for a bit of a hike to your room. Comfortable, clean, and staff are very friendly and professional. Overall great and recommended.

The location was perfectly situated off the main road and in the center of things. The staff were welcoming and the breakfast was very good. My only complaint is that the air only works when you’re in the room. This becomes problematic when you are in this climate because it causes mold. Our hotel room smelled of mold and our swimsuits took longer to dry because of the humidity in the roof. For that reason, I cannot recommend this hotel

I took a "primer suite" and a "primer room", both options were bad since they were at the first building which either is close to the road that is noisy or viewing a back rood and a workshop which is not a nice view to look at. 1. the primer suite is on the ground flood on a back road that doesn't have any view whatsoever. 2. the primer room is also on the main building but its either close to the road or viewing the back road and the workshop. I suggest getting other options from the rooms they have. pillows aren't comfortable and the ACs are usually not working fine or too noisy. breakfast is decent and the pool is nice, The hotel's location is good and the staff is helpful.

The room is perfect for couples. It promotes intimacy. The breakfast buffet is OK. Everything you need is in walking distance. There is a 711 across the street from the resort and a market that is a 3 minute walk away. The beach is an easy 10 minute walk away. Make sure to walk the beach at night to watch the free fire show. There is also another market about 4km away. If you have time, the complimentary bike can easily get you there.

Overall a pretty good place to stay in Ao Nang Areas. For us Malaysian, one of their staff can even communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and really impressed me. Location wise Pakasai Resort get a big thumbs up due to the convenience location walking to Night Market next to the resort and most importantly, 7-11 just opposite of the resort's lobby. Good stay and highly recommend.

Hotel staff is friendly Location is good, 7–11 is just opposite Bed is very big and comfortable However the hotel room is extremely humid and the bathroom smells terrible. You can smell moldy once you step in the room. And the aircon is super noisy

I'd stay here for 9 nights. The location, reception and restaurant staffs, foods and environment are good!! There're lots of greens. If you're okay to stay with lots of animals, insects and lizards, you can enjoy this hotel with great nature. However, the housekeeping is the worst I've ever experienced. At first she didn't provide us new towels and just hang the old one. Therefore we gave her 100THB of tip everyday. From next day she changed towels everyday. However, She didn't change bed sheets and pillow covers till we asked. It was just once in 10days. She did clean the toilet and bathroom once as well. If you expect cleanness for the hotel, I can't recommend you to stay with them

Beautiful surroundings, nice, spacious rooms. Our room was at the top of the property up many many stairs. We are a young, fit couple but even we struggled getting up there every time. Despite that though, sometimes we would see the monkeys playing in the trees above our room. Service was great, pool was great. Breakfast had a good variety, but it was pretty similar each day. My wifi wouldn't work properly which made receiving confirmation for activities difficult, but my partner's worked fine. All in all, really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed in a garden view villa. Room is huge and balcony is huge and fairly private. Booked one night and ended up booking a second night. AC works well. Bed is super comfy. Towels at the pool are the best I’ve ever seen. Lots of free water. Very sound proof walls. Farther from the beach than I thought, but close to beach equals close to noise. Gardens are pretty. Quite a few steps to get to some of the rooms. Breakfast was decent - not the same level of cleanliness as in Canada, but pretty darn good for Thailand. Overall good and worth it.

We booked this hotel based on the description of the room “garden view, 1st or 2nd floor”. We were put in the back alley on the ground floor, staring at a wall. We asked to move room but we were still given a room at the back, starring onto a car park with big containers. Baby cot was old and dirty when we got it, hotel is old and with cracks in the walls that let aunts through. The photos aren’t the reality. We even found old blood stains on our sheets. Staff was obviously exasperated by our request. The garden in the centre was gorgeous and it is very well placed. Rooms are a good size and the breakfast is nice.

Large room, clean, excellent staff, need to revamp the accommodation and update the pictures as it is showing its age Off the main drag at Ao Nang which was not for us A lot of steps to everywhere and no lift, could be an issue for the more elderly

Beautiful resort! The greenery is so calming - a pure sanctuary. A bit of a walk up with a lot of stairs to the room which made bringing my luggage down difficult, but totally understandable given tsunami susceptibility. Spacious room with everything you need!

Restful stay
The staff speaks great English and provided very efficient service for any needs we had. The restaurant onsite was delicious and had good options available. The room was very spacious and had a nice porch for relaxing. The only negative with the room is the platform the bed is on, it is very inconvenient to get in and out of the bed. I was very afraid of hurting myself. Also, it is very easy to walk to lots of dining options and the beaches from this hotel. The hotel is nicely tucked away though, so it is quiet at night, good for sleeping.

A good Stay
Everything about this place is amazing. The eco friendly vibe and the space in the room. I am not one to bring things up. But we did ask for twin beds and we got the king which we didn’t want. And the air con was not so amazing!! The room hardly cooled down. I didn’t make a big fuss because we assumed it was because it was an eco friendly resort and they don’t use a lot of energy. The bathroom shower/shampoo gel was amazing. And the stay was cozy !

Great place!
This is a very nice plave to stay. The grounds/amenities (wonderful eco-friendly foliage, swimming pool, dining, even a traditional dance performance) are great. The only thing that was unusual was a tour they booked for us. There was a problem with it, and they happily worked with the tour company to remedy it. (To reiterate: the tour had problems, but that in no way reflected on the hotel; in fact, they were eager to resolve it.) We would definitely stay here again!

The resort is located at a convenient place. Just around the corner, there were night markets and a lot of muslim food at the night market.

A really nice hotel with good facilities and excellent staff. The only problem was that we were upgraded to a sea view chalet, and my poor arthritic knees struggled to cope with the steep steps leading to it. I would have been better off with a lower standard chalet. That said, I enjoyed watching the occasional appearance of wild monkeys in the trees from my balcony which would not have been possible lower down. All in all, an excellent hotel with great amenities and food in a good location. I would definitely stay again.

Christmas family stay
Our family of 5 ( including 3 teenagers) had a lovely 8 day stay at the Pakasai Hotel over the Christmas holiday.We found almost everything in the hotel to be really good rooms staff ,location and service. We did have a few simple things though that the hotel could easily improve .Firstly the beds are very hard ! However ,when I complained the staff immediately put an extra mattress protector on the bed which helped a bit ....ans secondly while the breakfast buffet is good ,the layout is a bit strange .We had to wander around each morning looking for plates ,sauces etc. A bit of thought and better planning would easily sort this out. Having said that,we really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

Lovely Jungle Resort
We loved the jungle feel of the Resort. Our room was high up which gave us a nice view and at the same time some peace and tranquillity from the busy Ao Nang Main Street. 10 min walk to beach. Lovely breakfast, good vegetarian selection. Also we loves the pool area.

We enjoyed our stay there overall. We booked the honeymoon suite for a very affordable price. A few things to take notice is the room is at the top of the hill. Hence, a bit of stair climbing needed. And the room is mainly surrounded by trees and other rooms so not much sunlight in the morning. The upside is you get a quiet room. I'm satisfied with the morning buffet overall. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect as everything is nearby.

Excellent resorts, not without some quirks though
Good: * Big Spacious rooms with a day bed, can be used by a child. * Good location, just off the main road. 10 min walk to both beaches. * Ao Nang's main street and restaurants are easily accessible. * Green, eco-friendly resort Not-so-good: * No tea/coffee in room. They provided 1 pair of green-tea sachets (no sugar/whiteners). Even this was not refreshed on a daily basis. For the price that one pays, at least a coffee sachet was expected. * Bathroom sliding doors were not closed completely, leaving a 4-inch gap * Breakfast is repetitive. Not many Asian/Thai/Indian options. * Our bathroom tub stopper was broken. We complained about this on the day of check-in, and yet, it wasn't addressed even after 3 days. * Wi-fi is quite flaky.
