This property is rated VIP in Expedia and as a member is not up to the expectations, for same price is many good options the only reason for me to stay there was 1. The VIP perks which was not honored and 2. Location which is very good indeed. The property charge me early check in when I have as a benefit with Expedia, that was wrong, I wasn’t acknowledge and brief about anything else, the conditions of the rooms are deplorable and I found bed bugs and cockroaches in my room 1510, I couldn’t sleep, good I was there only for one night and for sure I will not go back.

The hotel is well located just downtown and close to the Petronas, shopping and parks. The only negative note is the state of the facilities which needs renovations.

Dirty and dusty room!!!
So the hotel lobby is nice, and has a decent breakfast. But the room was extremely dusty with particles of dust everywhere. There was so much gunk and grime in the bathtub that made it unusable. There were so many stains all over the place, its clearly not been maintained well. Won't be booking it again!

Booked and paid through Expedia after looking through a few properties. Said it was a 5 star rating. The room was tired smelly and dirty. Stayed for 2 nights. Next day I was out until 4.30 pm and the room was not done up. Then 2 poor young boys were sent after I complained who knew nothing about cleaning and could not understand what I was asking for. If you looking for a place to stay check out other hotels. This hotel certainly is not as advertised and rooms have a hygiene issue with smells.

Convenient location, 10 mins walk to Suria KLCC. Nearby food outlet. Clean room, friendly staff are approachable for assistance. Carpark at basement, lotsa space. Highly recommended for midrange accommodation.

I booked a 67sqm suite which advertised and pictured clear views of the Petronis Towers for MYR527. This is why I chose this hotel and spent more for a suite The view was a tiny slither of one of towers. When I challenged with reception this they said a building had been built to obstruct this. I had only booked a few weeks earlier so surprised that a building could be built and occupied in only a few weeks. They had no interest to take any responsibility for their false advertising. The safe didn't work and was not attached - I picked it up with 2 fingers. NO FRIDGE in a 67sqm suite - I needed this to keep my insulin chilled so had to throw it out. There was a large cockroach in the bathroom - I was impressed by his ability to climb 21 floors. The hotel room was old and tatty and needed a total refurbishment The room was poorly laid out with about half of the space wasted and unusable. The breakfast was rubbish and the restaurant staff were rude. On a positive note the bed was comfortable and air conditioning worked. Fortunately I only had to endure this hotel for only one night. Beware if you're considering this hotel - I've stayed in much much better in KL.

This hotel is in good location. The hotel lobby looks like 5 five star however rooms are outdated. The reason why I was upset is that I choose this hotel as it is VIP under Expedia. I have silver status and the hotel refused to give free breakfast. Based on the agreement I received it is in writing that it is free breakfast. There were no VIP treatment. In a way this a good experience as I was suppose to book 10 rooms for an up coming work event. I have advice my workplace not to go with this hotel.

We booked a 5 star executive suite, it was weathered, dirty, no bar fridge, and no tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast included does not cater for Westerners. Extremely disappointing

Hotel Maya is a dated 5 star hotel, where some rooms have been refurbished and others have not. We booked last minute and it was one of the few cheaper 5-star hotels within walking distance of Petronas. On the first night my wife injured herself in the shower due to some sharp objects. As compensation, the hotel manager offered a second room for the children to stay in for one night. After the second night, we were woken up early in the morning by a leak from the room above. This time an engineer came and looked at it and walked away—no call from the manager or finding an alternative. The leak kept going until we checked out at 12. Hopefully, these were isolated incidents.

I Recommend this property only because of its location. Rooms are dirty not well maintained. We had to change room because toilet was leaking and after we moved to a new room the shower and wash basin sink were clogged (which were fixed) but mess they left was not cleaned even though they said they cleaned.

The main advantage of the hotel is the position very close to Klcc. The elevators and rooms are old. I often found small insects in the bathroom. There is no choice of restaurants and the only one available one night was booked for a private function. It’s a 3 star hotel in a convenient location.
