The hotel was generally 'tired'! Balcony doors would not open and when maintainance man came to fix them he said the runners were broken so new doors needed and that would take a long time. I suspect in 10 years time they still won't be fixed! Curtains etc very old. The room was always well cleaned. The food was generally cold, even when ordered from menu rather than the buffet. After a day we noticed a sign in the room saying tea/coffee were provided but a charge of 5 ringgit per day. Very small bottles of water in the room, which are usually complimentary were 3 ringgit. We bought a pack of 12 500ml bottles from the supermarket for 2.99 ringgit. In fact we were not charged for these services. The staff were very friendly and willing to help.

The facilities in the room very terrible.
Wifi is suck. only wifi without Internet connection. should be advertised as non wifi hotel. the towels is not enough. there's no towel to be placed on th toilet 's floor. Toilet's floor is very slippery. I and my friend also slipped a few times. The front desk ladies wear a lot of makeup, not polite and very slow. The bellboy even worst. My friend are pregnant and I assisting her with her luggage. While I struggling with 2 luggages, the bellboys (yes , 2 of them) do nothing and didn't even open the front door for me ( They have a very on. I just standing a few steps away from them. The staff and facilities were terrible. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Ocean view & great ICT
We love the fresh wind blows over the ocean, the variety of buffet breakfast served with it's speciality Nasi Dagang and courteous waiters will definitely make us want to re-visit Primula again..

Hotels a bit shabby. Need a proper maintenance. During sahur didnt provide any juice just a plain water. Stingy. Room a bit expensive. It is a old hotel but still Not value for money

Bummer
Bugs in the rooms and mosquitos abound at the restaurant near the hotel lobby. Otherwise the rooms are quite nice and well appointed. Everything seems to be in good condition at the hotel. Many of the rooms have a lovely view of the nearby beachfront.

Internet line always down, the food not many to choose specially breakfast. Staff's hotel eating breakfast same time with other guest they should eat in a sparate room or after breakfast time over. Coverd Parking space limited infect the staff using for their own parked

Location exactly beside beach... staff friendly... and the best thing in this hotel was food.. even i'm also Malaysian but the local food was marvelous, breakfast can try nasi dagang and ubi rebus.. then also can tried their lempeng nyior.. it's so nice and delicious. In term of price, even it higher than others but to be honest, worth it!

Upon checking we were advised that two beds were better even though we wanted one queen. Apart from that the room was clean and the whole stay was enjoyable.

Hey, it's a good value. The food was okay (one day breakfast was awesome and the next, not so much). Really nice pool area. Beach is okay if you want to be there (it's really hot out here). But honestly, nice people, clean and large room, some rooms have an AMAZING ocean view. I have no complaints. I don't think you will regret it!

We stayed here for one night (04/04/2014). The hotel is located right on the beach about 5 mimute taxi ride from centre of town. We had a pleasant room on the 10th floor with a sea view. Rooms are spacious with a fridge, tea and coffe making facilities. Terengganu is a Muslim state so no alcohol served in the hotel. Beach not very pretty with hotel provided sunloungers and umbrellas in poor condition. warnings of strong undercurrents in the sea. Hotel has nice pool with separate area for children. Good varied breakfast buffet. Taxi into town 10RM . Golden Dragon restaurant worth a visit in China Town (Beer served here). Nice bar / restaurant opposite

Excellent hotel but need to check the bathroom
Everything was great except the bathroom. There was a problem with the bathroom, its take minutes for the water to drain, maybe got something occluding the drainage system in the bathroom. So, water accumulate while I'm taking bath. However, i believe it just this room got this kind of little problem, and the hotel shall repair it as soon as possible. Overall, this hotel should be the best hotel to stay in KT.

Primula Beach Resort is ok. Service from the staff is poor. Your aren't made to feel welcome and if you want anything done for you forget it. Best Coffee is town ?? Well it possibly could be but there is never anyone to serve you at the coffee lounge.
