Great hotel, beds were quite hard but you’re so tired after a day at Disney it doesn’t matter! Great facilities and walkable to the park.

If you are going to disneyland hongkong this is the place to stay. You can go inside ans outside the park if you are hotel guest which is an added plus. Overall our stay was great.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Explorer's Lodge last week. The rooms were large, comfortable and nicely decorated. The entire resort is wonderful. We loved having breakfast there and exploring the facilities. We can't wait to go back!

Explorers Lodge is the perfect hotel for those that love adventures. There’s plenty to do around site with lots of free activities, as well as some paid. The staff are all so friendly and everything there was perfect for our stay. I truly enjoyed this hotel the most and would love to go back again one day

Room was very comfortable. We especially love the water dispenser that can dispense hot or warm water instantly. Great location by the sea. There is a seaside trail behind the hotel where you can enjoy a very nice walk with great view

Rooms are huge, clean and well maintained. Shuttle buses to Disneyland gives convenient access to Disneyland! Breakfast with characters are fully booked and so we were a little disappointed! Food options limited at hotel grounds.

Happiest place on Earth, well Asia (at least)
"Spend an entire day just at the resort!" - this was what my family collectively said after just using this place to stow luggage and practically just sleep and bathe. There is so much to do and so much to appreciate but if you were combining this with a 2-day theme park "run", it will be such a waste. Its not the cheapest but definitely worth every penny so we will be in it more next time. I hope that they can offer discounted park tickets as well since the costs for all just becomes extremely ridiculous if you think about it - hotel / resort guests should be entitled to discounts on park food and tickets.

awesome stay
our stay here is very exceptional. very nice staff and helpful staff. There was just a language barrier with the front desk officer. She said i will just be informed of the room number but nothing came so after almost an hour, i went to a male front desk officer and ask for our room and number and its was already available. Overall, it was very memorable stay. we will recommend and hopefully visit again

We had great experience staying here with kids. The service of the lodge is brilliant and there is a play area/pool for kids to enjoy. Going to and from Disneyland is a breeze too with the shuttle bus that runs very frequently. Overall, it was a five star experience for us.

It is definitely for families who want to visit HK Disneyland, the staff are all very friendly and polite and extremely helpful with everything. The food prices are high but expected for a Disney hotel, there is also 24 hour room service which is extremely helpful after a long day @ the park. There is also free shuttle service between the hotel and the park/metro station.

The hotel is friendly for family with connecting room feature. The negative is the limited choice of food. Not suitable for long-term stay given dine-in option is so limited in choice that by 2nd day, we run out of option on food choice.

For the price of this hotel. I expect higher. First off no complimentary water which is just standard at much lower level hotels. Some of the dinner prices are just outrageous. Yes it’s Disney but for the quality matching the price. Chef Ramsay didn’t make it but they charge that amount.

Decent but can do better
Hotel ambience was good. Food options were limited but enough for few days. Room condition was decent. However, Bed sheets felt old and mediocre. biggest down side was the weak shower and slow drainage. Overall stay was still quite pleasant but hotel could do more with providing a bigger Disney experience for kids. More regular appearance of some Disney characters is one possibility.

Excellent Disney themed hotel. Breakfast buffet offered a lot of options. Staff were very friendly. Hotel offered luggage storage and retrieval for guests prior to checking in and guests checking out. Would definitely come back again!

This stay was to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and notified the hotel in advance. However, we were initially given a disabled room. It felt strange and we felt that these special rooms should be reserved for guests in need, so we asked to change rooms. Although the hotel is close to the theme park, many people who are not hotel residences are found staying and having picnics in the hotel. Although the hotel does not stipulate that non-hotel residents cannot enter the hotel, some facilities in the hotel that they should be managed to ensure the safety of guests. All other services are satisfactory, and the quality of the hotel restaurant is also good. We have a happy holidays.

Our first time to stay at a Disney Hotel and honestly, it was just average. I would liken it to staying at a Holiday Inn in the US. So for the price of Disney at about $250 per night … not really worth it. Bed mattresses were hard on the back. The rooms were just ok. Carpets are wearing out despite this hotel being fairly new. Service and staff were polite and helpful especially when my husband’s coffee spilled on him and his brand new shoes and shirt since the lid of the cup wasn't secured properly (they gave us free laundry service) and stopped putting lids on the cups. The dining options were very limited and poor especially for picky toddlers (no convenient staples like chicken nuggets, fries or pizza or even a grilled cheese) which I find bizarre given that it’s supposed to be a kid friendly resort. You have to go to the other Disney hotel to get these. Character dining and the buffet was just ok. Pool was nice. The explorer themed decor was a cute touch). Would I recommend to stay here? Maybe for a night, then move to a hotel in the city where you will get better bang for your buck, better food and lots of shopping options to make you HK stay a better one! Disneyland food options were also limited and not good (surprising considering HK has so many great restos!).
