Small hotel in a historic house. Very walkable neighborhood with lots of restaurants. Felt very safe to be walking out after dark (around 9pm). Excellent-size room, especially for our family of four. Bathroom good size, but old-fashioned (beautiful tile work and very clean), as I would expect in a building this age. GREAT staff--so helpful and friendly!! Lovely breakfast with fruit salad, omelettes, bread and jam, fresh-squeezed juice. Warning--no A/C--just fans, at least in our room. A cool shower and open window helped, but not really cool enough to sleep till midnight (again, sort of to be expected in a house this age).
Pros: Historic character, great neighborhood, great price.
Cons: A/C in the room
Location: Lots of restaurants and cafes. We were only there for a one-night layover.
