Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good location near the Metro with just an eight minute ride to central Lisbon. Local stores and shops are just a block or two away.

The staff bent over backwards to make sure our stay was wonderful. The breakfast buffet far exceeded anything have eaten at. Mimosas for breakfast. Nice! The day we left in the very early hours, they had breakfast boxes ready for us to take.

A comfortable stay, at a fair price. Check in staff friendly and helpful and enjoyed a lovely breakfast, however, the rooms are a little dated and tired and the bar prices are very expensive for a four star hotel.

I enjoyed my stay here, the bed was really comfy, rooms a good size, and the front desk staff were helpful with recommendations and information about Lisbon. The area is quiet and away from the centre of lisbon which I liked, its easy to get around with a train and metro station close by (under 10 mins away). Ubers downtown are approximately 5€. Room was mainly clean, some of the sheets have seen better days and theyre are a few stains on the carpet but generally good. The spa was relaxing, I had a decent massage there. My only advice is to book massages early to avoid disappointment. Breakfast had a good selection of food, I'm not sure if they were short staff most mornings but any made to order (fried eggs, dairy-free coffee, pancakes, etc) can take a while and weren't always correct.

Excellent hotel with friendly staffs and fantastic breakfast. Though this hotel is little far off from the city centre, it is well connected by metro. The only con I found was that this hotel is right under the path of flights landing. So there is always noise particularly in the morning hours affecting our sleep.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sana Malhoa! The rooms were clean and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent and the gym was great. The best thing about our stay was the staff who were so helpful with absolutely everything! Carolina and Ruben were particularly helpful during our stay, but all the staff were great!

No water in ther bathroom
It was high occupancy in most of the hotels in Lisbon so I paid a high amount for 4 nights to secure a room for my guest coming from Korea. we did have any issues the first 3 days but before the day of departure, my guest could not take a shower because something was a problem with the water system. The hotel confirmed to solve the problem but the next day morning it did not solve and my guest left the hotel without water

In terms of the staff they were always smiling and helpful. The hotel itself was ok, room decor is overdue a makeover as I noted that wallpaper was peeling in seperate locations. It certainly had a 3/4 star feel to it. The Buffet Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, but I did not dine here for lunch/dinner/room service so cannot say how good the offerings were. Finally, the immediate location was just really quiet, certainly not the best if you want to be in immediate proximity of restaurants/bars as they were about 10 - 15 mins walk with great facilities with a large 7 floor department store/Cinema complex. The tourist area was accessible via metro 15 mins away. Overall would only recommend if you were on a tight budget but something a 10 mins walk away from the centre of Lisbon would be preferable for me.

I’m touring ahead of the rest of my group of 240 people to test out new hotels, I work in the music touring industry. After flying all night from the US, I get to the hotel around 11:30 AM to see if my room will be available for check in, and it unfortunately wasn’t. Check in is technically at 2 pm mind you. As I sit there and counted 13 people come in and get their room keys and go straight to their room. At 2:45 I politely asked if my room is available because I’ve seen many people get their keys right away, and guess what still not available 45 minutes after check in. Also, may I note, I sent a nice email introducing myself weeks before I traveled and letting them know a timeframe of when I would be getting in. If there’s anything they can do to check me in earlier, I would really appreciate it. There is no sorry. There was no room upgrade. There was nothing offered. Very disappointed and needless to say me, and my touring party will not be staying here or in the future. Glad I checked it out myself first.

Unfortunately this information was not transmitted to the reception team, who preferred to wait until your room (307), being a good room with double bed, was ready instead of changing to another one.Once again we regret what happened and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future.Kind regards,

Perfectly Situated for Rejuvenation
I had an amazing stay. The common areas are beautifully designed spaces that were a joy to lounge in. The room was spacious and climate control was customizable. I reserved two separate spa treatments that were superbly relaxing. The staff were highly attentive - the breakfast buffet has so many food options and was tasty and filling. Staff spoke English well enough to make transactions and socializing fun! The subway is less than a 1/2 mile away. It wlcan be accessed through a beautiful park. Plenty of cafe options and a laundromat are nearby to add to personal convenience.

Great Ambiance, Comfortable Room, So So Staff
PROS: The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The overall hotel ambiance is wonderful. Great design. The breakfast was outstanding. Cons: The lower score is for the front desk staff. There was a conference going on and the hotel was busy. I am a very low key solo traveler and only had 3 requests. Incorrect information was given on more than one occasion and they were not very friendly. I always give the service industry the benefit of the doubt but when numerous people are unhelpful it stands out.

After s many great hotels, this FELT like a hotel by a major airport. The thermostat wereVery antiquated. Breakfast was good. Location was good to visit the Gulbenkian. Just lacked charm and warmth.
