An excellent location. Opposite the V&A, and the Science and Natural History museum also round corner. Royal Albert hall a short walk away South Kensington tube and restaurants etc not far away. Friendly helpful staff, checking in/out easy process and a good breakfast option.

This was a very solid and appealing hotel in an area that is perfect for me. Right across from the Victoria and Albert Museum and 5 to 10 minutes away from the south Kensington tube stop, it is exactly where I want to be. There are areas to meet people for a drink or have a meeting, or afternoon tea, and I had a big breakfast each day of my stay. It was thoroughly agreeable!

This is a lovely hotel with one big problem - there doesn't seem to be any soundproofing between the bedrooms. I could hear the people in the next door room distinctly (ie I could hear their exact words) even though they were just talking conversationally. And they talked long into the night...

The breakfasts at the Rembrandt are enough to keep one going until dinnertime and, for a reasonable fee, can be delivered to your room at a time you choose in advance. I used their dry cleaning service and the item was returned to my room the next day. The staff are very helpful and always polite. And the location, across from the V&A can't be beat. This was my second visit but won't be my last.

Friendly and helpful staff and good location with short walk to the Tube. Got sick following first breakfast at hotel, having chosen scrambled eggs and vegetables. Afterwards played it very safe with food selections. Rooms were 'dated'. Was first placed in a VERY small room with uneven ceilings (top floor) and was allowed to change rooms.

Our guests also have the choice of using South Kensington or Knightsbridge underground stations or alternatively the No 14 bus which is a 24hr service into the West End, which makes travelling around the capital easy. Their TV was out when we arrived they didn't tell us and we decided to check out after 2 days change hotels. The amenities were all extra the breakfast the spa was extra even though water in the room with extra.

Breakfast is included in all of our rates and therefore you should not have been charged for this meal.We are sorry that there was an issue with our television server and that you decided to change hotel after two days. The front desk staff is exceptionally helpful from checking in to check out. Very attentive to guest needs. Pablo in guest services is especially accommodating...when answering dozens of my curious daughter’s questions. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

I stayed for 4 nights including Christmas Day. The food options in the 1606 lounge bar were average but at least there was a decent amount of gluten free and veggie options.The main Palette restaurant was not open at all except on Christmas Day for Christmas lunch which turned out to be a mediocre self service buffet with soggy roast potatoes and sprouts as hard as bullets. Not what you expect for £99 a head and there was no mention when booking or on the website. Perhaps they were cutting costs by not employing enough waiting staff over the Christmas period to provide table service. I would have expected better at a 4 star hotel.
