I have a wonderful stay, my room can view the gate of the sanctuary. It's clean the only issue is the noisy floor when walking that i can hear even the upper floor too. Closed to restaurant esp the Filipino restaurant. Thank you to the reception staff the guy who helped me what to do when my passport was stolen and even helped me to communicate with the police. Thank you to the young girl in the reception too for being helpful and able to speak english with me... i will stay here again.

Staff were awesome and accommodating from the front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping! Breakfast was good! Good experience over all! Very close to the Sanctuary…5 minute walk using the lift.

Good hotel - not for food
The room was very nice. This was the first time I saw a room with stairs that led up to more beds. It was very comfortable and spacious for the 4 of us. It is very close to the shrine. One of the best parts of the hotel. Call ahead and they will set up the parking for you in their small parking lot. The reason for the loss of stars, the pictures show a cafe and outdoor eating area. They are there but it’s not open. Dinner is a pre set menu for a fixed price. Breakfast was a small continental breakfast. They should say the cafe is not open and there is no one to give you wine on the terrace. That there is no a la cart menu or a buffet like it says on the street.

Just like you, many clients make reservations for room only, we thus do not have enough reservations before hand for the restaurant to keep the buffet meals at certain dates.As for the bar, the reception team can always serve you when the barman is having a break.Hope to welcome you again at the Hôtel Sainte Rose.

Great location! Hotel is right outside the Sanctuary making it accessible to go in and out at any time. Easy meeting place for our Viator walking tour. Shopping and restaurants are very close. You need not walk or take taxi to visit the Sanctuary! Highly recommend!

The stay was wonderful. Very close to the main areas in Lourdes. Restaurant hours are challenging and bathroom smelled very strange, but other than that, the place was spectacular. The staff was exceptional and went out of their way to help. Recommend!

Transferred to Hotel Panorama
We didn’t stay at Hotel Sainte Rose because they closed it a day before we arrived due to low activity. We were transferred to Hotel Panorama and I think it’s a better choice. My excellent rating is for Hotel Panorama.

We had some issues with checkin and the front desk was less than accommodating. Our room was spacious, bright and very clean. The house wine at the hotel bar was quite awful. We were not impressed with breakfast for the amount we paid. Overall, you could probably find a better hotel in Lourdes.

Exceeded expectations
Totally exceeded my expectations. Room was spacious , I think the hotel has been recently refurbished, everywhere was very clean and very comfortable, bathroom very clean and large. Tea and coffee available. We upgraded to half board whilst there thanks to the very helpful waiter in the restaurant. Location was excellent, very easy walk around the area and easily reached on foot from the station. Bed was comfortable. Room was warm.

I like everything, including the distance that is very close to Sanctuary. Suggestion to improve a bit more varieties of dishes/menu for dinner. Breakfast is perfect. Staff were very nice and hospitality. Negative: It could have been best hotel for the pilgrims if they provide a shuttle service to Airport at least on Sundays one in am and pm each. Because there is no public transport service on Sundays and taxi costs double on that day.

The only good thing about the property was the location. the room was terrible, for twin room, only one chair, no table to have tea and had to sit on bed instead. extremely small. the toilet seat had to be used sitting sideways as the industrial toilet roll was sitting next to it. nothing was good about the hotel except for the location. reception staff did not have a clue about any tours or any information about Lourdes. TV only had news in English nothing else. very poor.

Modern and convenient at a value price.
The look and style of the facility is modern and clean. Dual elevators confusing at first but the room was what we would expect from higher end hotels. Plus it's close to the gate of the sanctuary which is a definite plus.

A great stay and lovely find after many years of coming to Lourdes. We got a refurbished room which was great. Clean and comfy. Would have been nice to have had the sheets changed during our week long stay but other than that no problems. Also the shower, which is really nice, big and poweful could do with a shelf or somehere to store bottles etc other than on the floor. We did just bed deal as breakfast was an added extra at 12 euros and this seemed very pricy. Great front desk service and very friendly staff. A great convenient place to stay.

Very nice comfortable hotel close to Grotto
I like the hotel very much, it was comfortable and staff was friendly. I gave all 4 because it was good though I had a bad experience. I booked triple room for 3 people- 3 beds saw the pictures of triple room liked it. First day they gave us a room in old block 3 single beds together and everything was dated including toilet. Our moods were bad. Next day we asked what happened to the room we saw and booked online. Manager said they had a large group and our room was given. Which was not acceptable as we booked 4 weeks in advance. He offered us a double bed room and added another bed. We took it to escape old room. Otherwise did not want a double bed to share! That was in new block and very roomy and good decor and modern bathroom with tea coffee and mini fridge facilities. We were glad to get out of old room and did not ask for discount or compensation ruining our first day at Lourdes. I do not want to give a poor rating for a nice hotel. But they should not do this to others travellers. We go through internet checking so many rooms to get the best that suit us.

Its a very small room that i they gave me and the washroom area (including toilet) is the smallest i have seen in my life's 10 years of travel.

Very close to Grotto and St Joseph's gate
Except the reception staff and one other member of staff in the dining area cannot speak or understand English. The bed room for two is narrow. Clean towels daily. Breakfast is simple and plenty but lunch and Dinner is buffet but would not recommend it. it is also expensive. There are many decent restaurant near-by.

Nice hotel
This is a nice hotel within walking distance to the Grotto. Our family of four was accommodated in two rooms connected with a door (really nice). The front desk was really helpful! We arrived early in the morning, way before the scheduled check-in time and we were graciously accommodated in our rooms for no extra charge! The bathroom was clean but the fittings were a bit old. The elevator was too small for our family and baggage, so we made multiple trips. Nice neighborhood with Cafes right outside the hotel. From the room, we had a nice view of the Pyrnees mountains. Overall, a nice experience in Lourdes.

No AC in the rooms
they did not advertise that they did not have air-conditioning in the room. We bake in in for the first night, in spite of leaving the windows open. Then with the windows open, the noise from the street was very loud till after 2:00 am. The whole family did not sleep that night. The next day after I complained, they gave us fans. Internet connection is weak, food at the hotel pricey.

Inexpensive Hotel near the Grotto
I booked this hotel bacause of several reasons: Proximity to the Grotto; star rating; customer ratings; price. I was not disappointed. I will stay here again.
