Great hotel, large rooms, lovely staff and great location in the centre of the tourism area. Really enjoyed our stay a breakfast was included and had lots of choice. Our only problem was the pool was closed for refurbishing for a couple of week which coincided with our stay. We were not aware this would be the case when we booked a couple of weeks earlier. There was a lovely pool at their next door property though which they kindly escorted us to. Think this is probably the best hotel and location for Melaka centre.

Very wonderful, friendly staff. We stayed 4 nights and was advised by the B/F staff that they would provide us with "special" cuisine to prevent us from getting bored with their B/F options. We felt that there were plently of choices.We had special.meals on the 3rd & 4th day specially prepared for us by their chefs. I had stayed 10Nights at 2 different Singapore hotels & no one considered we may be bored with their B/F options. Also, the hotel manager met us and responded to our queries re where to find local peranakan cuisine. She helped organize transport for us to get to our destinations without difficulty..Highly recommend all who vidit Melaka to stay at Casa Del Rio

This time,I will make a serious comment to your hotel. Honestly to say, The hotel itself is very good, but I felt that the staff could have been better educated. It was a pity that the hotel could not meet the very simple requests of the guests, and that the necessary equipment such as bath towels etc., was not available. It may be 5 star in Malacca, but it is not at the level of global 5 star hotel like a Riz carton, Four seasons, Marriott and others. However, the management class has a high level of hospitality, and I felt that they are aiming for a global 5 star hotel. Please do your best.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Casa del Rio Melaka. All the staff from the reception, doorman, restaurant, cleaners, gardeners wete all very helpful, polite and courteous and would go out of their way to help you. We would recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay.

Location is excellent. I loved my room. The cooler however wasn’t cold enough. Love the cinnamon soap they provide. Overall it’s very comfortable. Staff here try very hard to please. Breakfast was excellent. My biggest complaint is the cooler being warm and the maintenance dude that showed up to inspect it took his shoes off before entering (which I appreciated) but walked across my floors with the most foul smelling feet which lingered after he left.

We are a family of 11 including 5 young children. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was centrally located and Jonker street was just a few minutes walk away. Our stay at Casa del Rio was pleasant and comfortable.

OVERCHARGED
When I made the booking, the price of the room per night was quoted as SGD 111 per night . At the hotel, I was told it is RM508 per night ( SGD 169). This is terrible. I was overcharged a total of SGD 233 for the two rooms that I booked for 2 nights.

Bar & Restaurant by the River.
The service in the bar & restaurant by the river could be improved especially in the response to guest before & after their orders. We had to wait for some time before anyone would approach us to offer a menu & take an order. Even a drink a long time to reach us although there was only one or two tables were occupied. Otherwise it was a good experience stay in Casa Del Rio for 3D & 2N.

Casa del Rio is fabulous. I will definitely return. It is in a wonderful location by the river. The central fountain over which all the rooms face is beautiful. The hotel has a wonderful layout. The room is lovely. The breakfast great and the infinity pool terrific as it is so large. We enjoyed riding around Melaka on the hotel’s bikes.

The services are very good and prompt. I don’t like the shower tap. Both the potable and head showers are on when I chose either one. Air con is too cold and does not change fast when temperature was adjusted, hence disturbing my sleep. Also I ask for queen size bed, only to discover it is two single beds join together. I cannot sleep in the middle of course!

Very nice place, well structured rooms, great facilities and solid service. We arrived at check-in time of 3pm and suite was still not available till 4pm but staff apologises profusely and offered to send a text to my overseas number once room is ready.

Very short walking distance to everywhere. Good spa. Room is very clean. Welcoming, provided cold ice cream while waiting for check in. Very secured hotel. Good spread of breakfast. Casa del Rio has a spacious property considering the alternatives. Good and safe parking facilities. Well located next to jonker street. Travelled with two children, and the studio river we booked was clean and big. Very thoughtful service, with evening service. We enjoyed our stay very much, and the front desk were helpful and friendly. Will stay here again!

Nice location, very near to walking Street & Hard Rock Cafe. Interesting that there's bicycle rental within the hotel, makes exploring Malacca more convenient.

Casa del Rio is one of the best hotels among those we've ever stayed in Japan, the US, the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, China and Malaysia. We'll definitely stay at this hotel whenever we go visit Melaka. And we also strongly recommend this hotel to everyone who will visit Melaka. The price is amazingly reasonable.

Hotel staffs are amazing.
Amazing staff and workers. One of the nicest I’ve ever met. Definitely will love to visit again. But wasn’t too satisfied with breakfast menu. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay.

it locates in the very centre of town, by the beautiful river, a unique location you may ever found in Melaka. unfortunately, on the other side of the river there were couple street artists singing with amplifier making annoying sound all day long, understood that was not controllable by the hotel but quite pity.

Its location along the Melaka river and near to the river cruise boarding area makes the environment livelier with the sounds of cruise boats passing thru the water. The restaurant also provide excellent food. The room that we stayed in is very spacious and clean.
