Find another hotel
Booked this Hotel through your website several months in advance and arrived to find no record of my booking whatsoever. Owner provided a name of another hotel 12km away and had to stay there. This hotel seems to be unable to deal with internet booking.

Frühstück gut, Bett war eine olle Liege und der Empfangschef hatte eindeutig das Sagen ^^ egal bei was ist ein bissl in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr gut sauber

NIE NIE MEHR WIEDER
Abgewohntes, muffiges, unfreundliches Hotel, wo sogar die meisten Birnen herausgeschraubt wurden. Man wird im Kasernenton darauf hingewiesen, wo man frühstücken soll, also keine freie Auswahl, man kommt sich vor wie in den 60igern, die dazugehörige Musik wird auch laut gespielt. Keine Heizung im Bad, die Heizung im Zimmer war aus, bei Außentemperaturen um die 7 Grad. Wir saßen am Tisch und wollten einen Williams trinken, die ersten beiden Gläser waren mit Obstfliegen verunreinigt, dann zeigte man uns die Flasche und meinte da ist nichts drin. Aber wir sahen dutzende dieser Obstfliegen. Danach filterte der Wirt den Schnaps wieder in die Flasche zurück und schenkte nochmals 2 Gläser ein. Da ist doch nichts drin etc… Wir meinten, dass sowas nicht ginge….. Wir wurden angepfiffen: „Dann gibt es eben heute keinen Schnaps mehr“!!! Am Abend zuvor tranken wir noch ein Glas Wein an der Theke, um 22Uhr hieß es dann barsch: So, Feierabend, ich muss noch an den Computer und morgen früh raus. Ihr könnt ja gegenüber in die Gerichtsklause gehen (übrigens ein Supernettes Restaurant mit TOP Essen. Alles in Allem, eine abgerockte Hütte, die ich nicht mal Monteuren zumuten möchte. Bei einem Preis von Euro 75 ist das eine bodenlose Frechheit!! Gut zu wissen, dass ich Zeugen habe für alles was ich schrieb, denn der Wirt ist bekannt, dass er mit dem Anwalt droht, wenn so über das Haus geschrieben wird..

Absteige an der Diemel
Das Zimmer war vielleicht OK, aber die Matratzen waren durchgelegen, wir hatten die ganze Zeit angst aus dem Bett zu fallen.

Keine Übernachtung trotz Reservierungsbestätigung
Der Eigentümer teilte uns in einem unfreundlichen Ton mit, das er kein Zimmer für uns hätte, ihm unser Name nicht bekannt wäre ohne in irgendwelchen Unterlagen zu gucken. Schroff meinte er er sei ausgebucht und bei ihm gibt es kein Zimmer. Die Reservierungsbestätigung interessierte ihn nicht.Das Hotel machte auch einen sehr runtergekommenen Eindruck, im Restaurant stand um 16 Uhr noch das gebrauchte Geschirr wohl vom Frühstück noch auf den Tischen. Sauberkeit und komfort musste ich mit ungenügend bewerten, da erforderlich.Wir haben dann ein anderes Hotel gesucht und im Landgasthaus " Bei Steggers " einen angenehmen Aufenthalt gehabt. Das Hotel Stadt Marsberg hat bei den Einwohnern keinen guten Ruf.
