"If you know the old dependable quality and feel of a Hilton, before the variability of what the brand has become, then you know precisely what to expect. Reliably clean (above average for equal rating standards), unassuming yet surprisingly comfortable, just as described if not above expectations, consistent customer based service within reason. Specific details of note- conveniences to make beach days enjoyable and convenient, at a fair rate, for families, solos, or anyone in between. Cons, accounted as personal inconveniences though doesn’t lessen quality of room stay: pool and/or deck area though lovely with heated pool is best for 7 year old’s and relatively good swimmers (no kiddie pool or area), deck hot tub fits 4-5 adults comfortably and located closest to deck bar- cool or uncool depending on your preference, only one single rinse off spout for entire deck including after beach- which is backed up during peak beach exiting times and requires patience if a must, pool towels are kept behind front desk and requires front desk attendant service- don’t recommend peak check in times or management assistance, location wise is central to multiple attractions but not a great deal of options dinning wise within a 1-2 mile distance."

"By way of beach hotels, this is the best one I can remember within the US. Staff is amazingly kind. Bath towels are seriously soft. Beds were nice and had good bedding. Front desk had all the information you could desire."

"My experience staying at the Crowne Plaza in Melbourne is always a good one. I've been visiting there for the past 3 yrs 4 my bday vacay. Had never been or anywhere else in Fla. It's always a great stay. Staff is wonderful, love that the hotel is right on the beach, its quiet, not a party town which is why I chose to visit. In 4/2022, my 1st stay, was awesome. Had a rm w/ a full beach vw which I LOVED! So the following April of '23, I put in a request to have that same rm & they were nice enough to hold it 4 me😊. I did hve an issue w/the hotel shuttle. When I arrived in Melbourne, I assumed that the shuttle was for the hotel guests, but the shuttle that pulled up said they had to get the flight crew 1st & there wouldn't be any rm, & I would hve to wait until another shuttle came. Now THAT I didnt like. So I just requested a lyft. Also the times of the shuttle, if you have an early am check out before 7/8am or coming in after 10/11pm you are SOL. Now my recent stay (4/2024), when I made my reservations, I requested to hve the same rm I stayed in the past 2 years. Whoever I spoke to was like "sure, no problem. I got you down". But when I arrived, the person at the desk said there wasn't any note on my reservation and another guest had checked in my room (😁) 2 days prior. I did get a full beach vw rm, but I wanted to be in the room I had before (😔). I plan on visiting again for my next bday & hopefully I get my room. Other than tht, always a great stay!👍"
