How does an upper tier property on Times Square in this day and age not have air conditioning in the rooms. Overall customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Our room faced Times Square, which had a great view. That was the best part of this hotel! We were told there was a shuttle service when I called the day before. There was no shuttle service! We also were told that there was a complimentary breakfast, also not true. Any question we asked, we got 3 different answers. This is suppose to be a 4 star hotel, our room was outdated and did not have adequate seating for two people. The AC has been turned off for the season, but it was 55 degrees when we were there and very warm in the hotel. We ended up calling the front desk and they brought us up a fan. Our maid was very sweet, also the best part of the hotel. I am completely disappointed about how much we overpaid for a hotel that does not deserve more than 2 stars.
