In the heart of Dotonburi!
Amazing location, and the staff was incredibly kind! We had a language barrier, but nothing that couldn't be figured out right away. The room was my favorite in all of our stay in Japan - clean, plenty of space, all the necessities, and soft beds! We stayed at a posh hotel in Tokyo, and I still preferred this guesthouse. The restaurant it sits above is also very good, I would totally recommend skipping a night in Dontonburi and just coming back to eat there. Would definitely stay here again!

We were staying this hostel for 3 nights during 20/10-23/10 at 4 floor. We feel that just like stay at home. Location is good, hostel is clean. The only thing that we hope the owner can change the water heater, sometime it comes with cold water even thought we have turn on the hot water.

Roach infested and management would not reply call
Initially when I enter the room it looked very clean. As we settled down I saw 2 huge roaches running behind the closet and lots of tiny ones behind the wash sink. I texted the management and no reply. My stay was for 2 nights and it was not pleasant. Ps. I even took picture and texted to the management but to no reply.

place is clean even though it's located near a busy food street. there are rats in the streets but hotel is clean enough. more like an apartment compared to hotel but staff comes to replace a new set of towels each day. great location.

Apartment living in Osaka
A bit far from the train station. After a long flight and long drag of luggage, there was a four flight (tiny) stairway to the room. Room was clean and amenable, but small and tight by US standards. Refrigerator, microwave and a washing machine really helped us on our trip.

Great place once you find it
This guest house is ideally located in the Namba area of Osaka. The main issue is finding the place. There is no name out the front and no street address on the building. Even though Wang emailed directions and a photo of the street it was not clear even when we found the street which place was the Guest house. No-one we spoke to on the street even knew it existed. This made for some anxious moments until we called Wang and she came to meet us and showed us around. The Guest House is not a hotel but a private residence. The two rooms were ideal for sharing with our 15 year old son. The place is pretty basic, but very clean, and has everything you need. Even shampoo and conditioner are provided. Love the warm toilet seat for the Osaka winter. Air-con worked very well to heat the place quickly. Ideally situated for walking around Namba, Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi and 3 mins walk to Nipponbashi station to get the underground around Osaka. The area really comes alive at night. There are a lot of red light premises around the area, but the area does not have a bad vibe and feels quite safe...like most of Japan.

5 minute walk to metro station and close to city center . Room is big and clean. Owner is very friendly and came to pick us from metro station. Will definitely come back and recommend my friends to book this hotel in future.
