The property and staff were wonderful. The cost of dinning in the rooftop restaurants were very overpriced for the quality. Everything seemed to be pre-plated and nothing stood out as great for $140 per person. The hotel lacked excitement as well with mostly 60yr old people. Great place if you are 60 :)

Upmarket resort/convention-style property in a stunning location on the shore of Lake Biwa. Amazing view from the room. Very expensive in-house dining options. Not close to transport, but half-hourly free shuttle bus to Otsu station fills that gap to some extent.

Gorgeous hotel with beautiful views and friendly staff. Our view of the lake was like a dream. Shuttle takes you directly to and from train station twice an hour. If you can handle a bit of a walk, charming restaurants are right by the lake. I want to return!!

It seems like every room will have a great view sue to the shape of the building. The staff were great and welcoming. I could easily recommend this hotel to anyone.

Views were great from the 34th floor. Enjoyed the large bed. Late checkout was amazing, so we could get some last minute sight seeing in. Appreciate everything.

This facility is classic, very confortable and clean. Beautiful front bay location but don’t expect luxury like other newer modern hotels. This facility is clean has great staff and has the best buffet. Onsen has beautiful outdoor bath.

Great Hotel, sky view rooms are great, top of Otsu is awesome, free transportation from Otsu station.....loved it. Room service was very atentive, house keeping daily, awesome! However, I disagree with pool fees, as a guest I should be able to use the facilities within the hotel free of charge. Also, you need to make reservations for restaurants, no walk ins. Other than that all good. Thanks.

Love the magnificent view especially sunrise and sunset that overlooking the Biwako. The hotel is spacious and surprisingly they have some local produce booth during our stay. So glad you have shattle service, would be good if you could mentioned this service in the confirmation booking email so for some who may enjoy this service from Zeze station. Thank you for your good customer service stuff, they can understand English, this helps a lot as a foreigner. I wish I could have stayed again in your hotel in the future. Thank you.

This view was very good. The staff are very friendly. However, the Wi-Fi speed was extremely slow (nearly unuseable at evening time i.e. during 7pm to mid-night)

Service was excellent; views from my room of Lake Biwa were spectacular; breakfast was excellent; but the rooms -- in particular the rug could use renewal. Parts of the hall, outside my room in the corridor , also showed wear and could use a fresh painting. Note -- this is a 3 and 1/2 Star Hotel so expectations should be set accordingly and overall I would return and recommend this hotel.

The Otsu Prince Hotel delivers great views of Lake Biwa, the best pool in the area, clean rooms, good service. For our family it is perfect. We look forward to coming again.

The scenery at this hotel was very beautiful. Right on the largest lake in Japan. We found the hotel, and especially the pool, very crowded.
