"Comme le stationnement est loin de l’hôtel, on devait attendre une navette et ça pouvait être long s’il y avait beaucoup de monde. Le personnel à la réception n’était pas très agréable et aidant, mais le personnel qui faisait la navette et le transport des bagages étaient très attentionné. Sinon la chambre était propre, au 3e étage sans assenceur, donc il faut le savoir si cela est un enjeu, il y avait aussi une drôle d’odeur dans notre édifice. Le buffet déjeuner était exceptionnel vraiment un très très beau buffet avec bcp de choix et l’accès à l’île du groupe valamar vraiment un gros plus avec la plage, serviette fournie, piscine etc."

"A fantastic family break for a week! The facilities are superb and accommodate for all ages: cycling, swimming, water slides, gym, treetop/go-ape adventure, beach, restaurants, gaming zone, arcade games. Plus local to the old town so a great area to walk, run and explore. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are well thought out with a breakout door for children and 2 tv’s. The rooms were kept clean by the service staff 2-3 times a day which was great. The only improvement point to not was it’s a new resort, so some of the processes were changing and staff were giving different versions of what was allowed and what not - example around all-inclusive and whether we could swap buffet lunch for lunch at one of the restaurants. Also pool bar charges for water, drinks and ice cream, though in doors in the family bar it was free. So some disconnects there that need to be aligned. Overall really enjoyed the stay and in a great location."

"Great location for old town. But far from car park despite friendly and efficient shuttle. Reception staff spoke broken English, for a luxury hotel. Water leak from room above disturbed sleep and required maintenance."

"The hotel is a resort hotel. Rooms were clean, breakfast was great. The only issue we had was parking. There were no defined parking spots so cars were parked with a lot of space in between. "
Valamar Diamant Hotel

"We had great experiences at other Valamar hotels but this one was a big disappointment. During our stay, there was construction work that started at 7:00 in the morning. It was just too loud and woke up my son early everyday. Also, during this period, obviously a world wrestling gulag at the hotel (https://www.myporec.com/en/what-to-do/events/27715) and there were a lot of wrestlers staying. The hotel should have either informed us of this event or simply closed it for other guests. The hallway was filled with hanging laundries (training wears) and there was too much testosterone at the entire hotel which didn’t create a family friendly environment. Even the gaming room was occupied by the wrestlers in the evening and children couldn’t use it. Lastly, the guest room is quite dated as mentioned in other reviews. The guest room pictures on Expedia must be rendering images and are not real… "

"Everything in the room was old. The room was big enough and the balcony was nice. The bathroom got very smelly from time to time. All of the staff were very nice. Food at the restaurant wasn’t great but good enough. Pool and playgrounds were nice as we have a 3 year old. Probably wouldn’t stay here again but it was good enough for what we needed at the time. "
