Overall stay is good. Good selections of dining options around the area. Very near the Ski School and ski slope. For an IHG hotel, the service level are subpar unfortunately. Although concierge team are super friendly and helpful
The Alpensia slopes were few and smaller, but the resort area was awesome. Lots to chose from. This is good if you're a new skier or maybe want to learn snowboarding.
Here for ski, so it was an excellent location although it was during the covid period.
After 2 years away, realized a lot of amenities are not provided - such as no toothbrush, toothpaste, combs etc. Just the bare minimum of tea, coffee, soap, shampoo and moisturizer.
We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly the room was comfortable , clean, and the location could not be beat for convenience and accessability. We literally could watch the ski slope from our room and wake up to that beautiful site every morning - ski-in ski-out at its finest! We also received a 30% discount on lift ticket and equipment rental with a stay at the hotel. The staff was awesome and helped us call a taxi, find out information about the local area, and even personally assist us jumping a dead battery in our car due to the extreme cold. We plan to come back again while we are here in South Korea, we couldn’t be happier or offer a higher recommendation to this outstanding hotel.
The overall services were prompt and very professional. Compared to my previous stays in other accomodations nearby, I give the top rating to this hotel without hesitation.
Hotel in good condition, good service especially the concierge. Free use of computer and printer. Free shuttle bus to Yong Peong and nearest train station (but not frequent). Extremely close to ski rental and ski field.
Hairy experience. We kept encountering hair in our bedsheets, blankets, towels and floor. Even after asking staff to change our sheets, the “fresh” sheets also had hair in them.
The noise dampening between floors is poor and you can hear people talking in neighbouring rooms and people walking in the room above you.
Breakfast was decent and had a lot of variety but was a bit expensive. (30,000W per person)
The hotel location is excellently located right at the foot of the ski mountain and a stones throw to all the restaurants at Alpensia Resort. It’s next to the Ski house and equipment rental. The ski lifts are right outside the hotel. The hotel staff from the concierge to the reception counters are helpful and friendly. Mr Jun at the concierge is fantastic. He speaks and writes very good English and helped us in whichever way he could so that our stay can be enjoyable and memorable. We will definitely be back. One of the best hotel service in South Korea! Very impressive.
Very disappointing that the toilet is not a heated one and shower only with no bath tub. You can imagine is quite painful when you want a nice hot bath after ski. The spa was closed and basically there was no other facilities in the hotel.
We booked a room for 3 person including breakfast but they only offer you 2 that I need to pay additional for a 6 year old. Yet my friend book a room with no breakfast and paid for 1 adult breakfast and get free child breakfast. When we talked to the hotel they said this is what the travel agents fault not theirs and did not do anything about it.
