The hotel reception staff is kind and helpful. The room needs a facelift. Beds and bathroom especially. Upon entering it smelled old, but after airing out the room it got better. The toilet smelled like urine although it appeared clean. The pool and playground for kids were great. We spent a lot of time there. The location is phenomenal and quiet. We enjoyed long walks in nature and explored thoroughly. Breakfast was scrumptious. Dinner was ok. What I mean is it all tasted fine, but it was nothing spectacular that I’d remember. The dinner staff seemed to be displeased about their tips. I overheard them complain to each other. Also some staff spoke limited German which was a bit odd.

Relaxing countryside stay
Great stay with family at this hotel in the countryside. Room was nice and clean, bed a bit too hard for my taste. Breakfast was good with everything you can expect. Buffet dinner was average buffet style. Friendly helpfull staff and premises very clean. Swimming pool and play land in different building, very popular with the kids. Nice area with possibility of bike and horseback riding. Supply shopping in nearby village 5 min by car for those with self cater apartments.

Der Aufenthalt verlief nicht annähernd zufriedenstellend. Beginnen wir damit, dass laut der Buchungsbestätigung eine Anreise um 17 Uhr angegeben war. Vor Ort stellte sich dann heraus, dass die Anreise bereits um 15 Uhr hätte stattfinden können. Die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption stellte das als lapidare Fehlinformation dar. Durch ihre Kommunikation ließ sie das Gefühl entstehen, diese Fehlinformation basiere aus nicht genannten Gründen auf einem Fehler bei uns. Als mein Sohn dann freudestrahlend sagte, dass er und meine Frau dann ja aber zumindest direkt ins Schwimmbad könnten, entgegnete die Dame an der Rezeption mit einer tiefen Selbstverständlichkeit, dass sie sich dann aber sehr beeilen müssten, da das Schwimmbad ja um 18 Uhr schließe. Sie können sich die Verwirrung meiner Frau vorstellen, da diese Uhrzeit nirgends vorab kommuniziert wurde. Ganz im Gegenteil, sowohl die Homepage des Schwimmbades als auch die des Hotels weisen eine tägliche Öffnungszeit bis 21 Uhr aus. Meine Frau und mein Sohn gingen dann in die Indoorspielewelt, welche bis 18 Uhr geöffnet sein sollte. Um 17:54 Uhr ging dort das Licht mehr als pünktlich aus. Am nächsten Tag nutzen beide dann den Schwimmbereich. Von den angekündigten "Attraktionen" war wenig zu nutzen. Die beworbene, 80m lange, Rutsche war gesperrt, das Außenbecken nicht beheizt und der Whirlpool gar nicht erst in Betrieb.Selbst das Innebecken war so kalt, dass mein Sohn bereits nach kurzer Zeit blaue Lippen hatte. Absolut keine Empfehlung
