Excellent location. Very clean, modern bedrooms. Comfortable King mattress. Big HD TV. Great and helpful staff. Parking inside the property can be complicated late at night. The ice machine was not working. Plenty of options for food and public transportation around.

As checking in, the front desk staff was extremely poor in the way they talked to guest and looked for problems to create. prior to booking we made sure check in through the website was 18 and older, but while checking in he had the worst attitude about us not being 21 and being unable to check in. after pulling up the website we were able to. parking is absolutely horrible, they will call the room and tell you to move if any part of your car is in the line. parking spots are so small do not recommend if you have a big car. as our stay went on there were multiple calls to the room telling us to leave on time and that we needed to get out when we had 20 minutes prior to our leave time. would not recommend.

The rooms have been upgraded from years ago and are much better. It’s super noisy from the street cars. I was in the second floor and people upstairs were loud. The walls are thin. Luckily I can sleep through anything and the traffic noise sounded like waves after a while. If you’re a lite sleeper than this hotel is not for you. Also, our bath tub had what looked like a blood stain. It had a minor crack and blood in it. I tried to clean it off because it’s super obvious as you sit in the toilet you can see it. It doesn’t come out because it has seeped in the crack. They should do something about it because it looks nasty. Overall the hotel is in a great location. Everywhere we drove to was super close. Hotel staff are nice and accommodating. I arrived early and they let us check in before 3, it was around 1. I loved how there was always parking available either in the front or back. Plenty of restaurants walking distance too.

The staff was very efficient but I wouldn't say friendly. Our room was just newly renovated which was very nice. It was spacious and clean. The outside of the building needs a little work.

PROS: We chose this property due to the Free parking. I was concerned how easy parking would be and the stalls are nice and roomy for being downtown. For the cost of the hotel, it worked out great for location. We were able to walk down to Fisherman's Wharf easily (with some hills). Bed was comfortable and room was small and basic, but clean and seemed renovated in recent years. CONS: The cleaner they use to clean the rooms is very strong smelling. You can only crack the windows so far, so it took a few hours to air out the room. I unfortunately had a headache and the smell made it worse.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful, friendly and polite. She was always willing to answer questions and we appreciated her very much. Parking right outside was great, rooms were clean and comfortable. Overall a great place to stay. We will stay there again. Minor thing was we asked for hangers but they forgot to bring them. Definitely not a deal breaker. We loved it

The property is undergoing a major remodel. We were in a newly refurbished room that was lovely. Workers were busy during the day but not a problem -just the usual hubbub. All construction materials were neatly stocked out of the way. The exterior is still dated bit I assume will be done when all the interiors are completed. Overall, was very satisfied with my stay here.
