Rating on Expedia is 4.0. Really? There is no frig, no room service. The sink was not draining. The shower did not work. We arrived by the late flight.Tired after a 7 hour flight.Could not have a shower. Could not brush teeth. Called front desk for help. Help arrived but not a plumber. At 12 MN instead of resting, I have a man trying to fix the sink, ( and lots of noise) and still did not work. I asked them to give me another room. Not available. The next day, still no shower, still unable to brush teeth, decided to change the hotel. The manager was not available till 10.00 am. Hotel charges ( when I booked ) was $229.01. When I checked in was $137/night. When I said, I want to leave they still wanted to charge me the 2nd night even though I was being forced to leave by circumstances. I communicated via Expedia all the time. From Wed to Sunday, they had charged me $1032. Rate per night is $229.01. When it came to refunding, they changed the price of the hotel. Suddenly it says $419.00/night. ( plus tax) so they could keep most of the money. In my opinion that is cheating. I was fooled. Please please DO NOT go to this hotel, unless that is the last hotel left in Seattle. What ever happened to Consumer Protection Rights? The refund should be $1032 minus $229 ( plus taxes) In reality, the price of the hotel had dropped to $137/night NOT gone up. Very disappointed at being cheated. At not having basic amenities work like shower, sink, and sleep disturbed( sink being checked
