Our room smelt like wet laundry/dog that lingered from the shower curtains for the duration of our stay. We had crumbs/food on the floor from the previous guests. The property seems a little outdated. Overall, for the price you can find a different hotel.

The room was large, clean, and modern. The public areas were well decorated and clean. The breakfast restaurant was nice and had a nice variety of selections. The service was helpful and courteous and welcoming. The only problem was there were not enough of elevators. We had to plan ahead to be sure we got to the lobby with our luggage to leave.

Great location for visiting Seoul. You’re close to a lot! The staff was wonderful and helped us figure out storing our luggage since our flight home wasn’t until 10 PM. They also helped us figure out transportation back to the airport. The rooms are spacious and clean and perfect to come back to after a busy day in the city. The coffee cafe downstairs was SO GOOD and there’s a 7/11 directly attached to the 1st floor of the hotel. Good blow dryer and full sized body lotion/shampoo/conditioner/and body wash provided! Also - we packed outlet converters as we’re from the US and they actually had a couple American outlets and even USB compatible outlets for chargers.

I liked that there was a 7 eleven that was 24 hours in the hotel. The staff was helpful and the location was walkable to the palaces and night market.

The Lotte City Hotel surpassed our expectations. Its location is close to shops and restaurants, the staff is courteous and accommodating. We also appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel. We highly recommend Lotte City Hotel.

Beds are not comfortable, no bed sheets, only one comfortable on top of the bed, mirror of the bathroom dirty. Too many people for such small elevators. Breakfast buffet was terrible, even the fruits bad quality. Manager should consider better food vendors for the buffet. I only ate once in the buffet, because all the food in general was terrible, even the coffee was strong and bad. The coffee shop in the first floor is much better and lower price.

Great location about 500 meters from train station and few minutes from famous myeondong street market. Rooms are a bit small if you have huge suitcases so plan accordingly. Staff were all very helpful and efficient in checking us in, helping us with finding restaurants based on what we were looking for, booking us a cab and giving very clear directions if we wanted to walk and all sorts of questions in between.

Property and staff were excellent, however dining and lounge options within the hotel were a little lacking. We enjoyed our stay, the coffee shop was great and the location was excellent. Transportation was very accessible and many attractions were within walking distance.

The hotel is older, the rooms are a little run down and furniture is worn out. Staff are kind and friendly. The beds are soft and comfortable. Nice to have a 24 hr 7-11 in the hotel.

Great location. Convenient to transit - subway entrance on the same block. Coffee shop on ground level convenient, though there is a better one a block away. Very close to myeongdong and Namdaemun market. Would definitely stay again.

While the property in general or the rooms ive stayed in both 17th floor, 11th floor and 7th floor have old stains in carpets and curtains that was a turn off for me. Also a superior twin is not necessarily two twin or king beds its actually two single beds. I love that they provide a kettle and tea options atleast in the room, i hate that you cant control your temperature.. pop open a window when it gets hot and close it again when it gets too loud.. pick your devil. The staff were super helpful and kind so thats a bonus. It is super convenient to walk everywhere thats also bonus.

Clean modern facilities Lovely and helpful staff -a bonus that they speak English so well. Easy check in and check out. We were able to leave our luggage for a few days while we travel to Busan. Highly reccomend Lotte City Hotel

This is a great hotel in the heart of Myeongdong and conveniently near Insadong walking street and the river canal walk. I accidentally booked the wrong day and the front desk helped me book the same room at midnight. Overall a wonderful location and modernness but a little expensive.

I definitely will go back to this hotel, the staffs at the front desk are very friendly and helpful! The only thing I don’t like it’s the cleaning staff not doing the job properly, we did ask for not to clean the room but still did went in but yet did not replace with a new pair of slippers! Kind of strange! Overall I do like the hotel, very convenient to go anywhere, very close to the subway station!
