We regularly stay here while in Seoul. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly and helpful and the pool and sauna are a big plus. We also like the location, near a major department store and bus station. We've never seen the hotel so crowded, but the staff seemed to manage well. Long lines for the breakfast buffet, which is usually worth the price. And pool time had to be reserved in advance. Lots of families with young children over a long holiday weekend and a big wedding or two. The free parking is a plus as well for those who drive to Seoul.

Horrible hotel! At first my upgraded room was smelly and not clean; and then I asked for anther room - and it was all the way in the back. The gym lockers closed at 10pm, even though the fitness center is supposed to be opened 24 hrs!?! I arrived 2 min late after the end of breakfast, since I was Rick a woke up late. The Gould NOT let me in to ha d my breakfast - just 2 min after closing?? I talked to the manager Mr. Ahn and he was not helpful; and was rude & condescending. The hotel is old, and overall not very good customer service. Please stay somewhere else.

Fabulous Stay

Comforts of home in Gangnam
Quick less than 5 minute walk to the express bus terminal which connected you to line 3, 7, or 9. The staff was excellent. They were very helpful to answer and questions we had and even reserved us a taxi for our flight out. The facility was impeccably clean and welcoming.

Rooms were very well furnished and the beds were comfortable. Toilet and the required amenities were all provided for without having to ask. Food was good at the hotel too. The only downside faced was that during the first few days of the stay, i was assigned to a room with a nonfunctioning air-condition unit. That made staying in it unbearable as it was the summer season. Thankfully, after informing the staff , appropriate measures were taken and a new room was assigned to me the next day.

Worst 5 star hotel in Seoul
This was by far the worst 5 star hotel I've been to. Im not sure how this hotel got a 5 star rating in the first place. First of all the room was in a very poor condition. Pics are attached to this review - There were holes in the pillow covers probably from cigarette butts. I had them changed when my room was made up, but the new pillows also had holes in them, but in a different spot. There was a half eaten bento box or a take out box left by a previous guest which was rotting outside the window probably from when the weather was cold enough to keep the food outside. In the bathroom there is a cheap looking plastic bar to hang shower curtains but the curtains were not properly hung. Also, don't expect the room size to be what's posted on the room info. It is significantly smaller than what is listed. Second, the service was terrible. The staff needs to be re-trained for customer service, especially the ones at the front desk for check in. To use the swimming pool you need to request a voucher which you can only use during the time youre allotted. This was supposed to be a relaxing vacation trip without a set schedule but I had no freedom to go swimming whenever I wanted. You would need to tell the clerk when you'll be using the swimming pool in advance to get the voucher. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone despite its convenient location. Any hotel will have better services than Sheraton Gangnam.

Service staff is the best, always helpful and willing to help. Except for the housekeeping, missed replacing items used every day. Aircon is turned off depending on outside temperature, which is not a 5* hotel.

Great value, comfort and location
Very nice, comfortable and excellent value hotel close to Gangnam amenities. Staff were very attentive and facilities (spa, sauna, gym & pool) were at the level of other 5-star hotels in Seoul, but at 4-star prices. Although rooms are slightly on the small side, the bedding was extremely comfortable and woke up every morning feeling very refreshed. Will stay again.

This hotel was in a great location in Gangnam, directly across from the Express Bus Terminal. Great amenities and a great fragrance throughout the hotel. Free parking wa a plus.

We had a great stay in Sheraton. The hotel is great, the rooms were very clean, and most importantly the breakfast have many varieties and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. For your information Sheraton hotel is 5 minutes walk to the subway station. Fantastic hotel.
