Right at pier. Saracen bay excellent location. Service tremendous - Thank you Ngi! Cambodian guests karaoke was charming. Trash washed up on beach is opportunity for all properties to better clean

beautiful beach with crystal clear water!
Once the air conditioning got started it was perfect. The staff there are very helpful and friendly the breakfast buffet was better than I thought I was really impressed with it since it was free. My only complaints are there’s no hot water, and the water pressure is very weak. Wi-Fi was working quite well I was able to work from the hotel room for a few hours. It is a very short walk to the beach and it’s breathtaking. I for sure would love to stay here again.

Great stay at a wonderful resort on the beach
Great resort. Big rooms right on the beach. Very quiet but only aa10-15 minutes walk in the beach to get to the heart and craziness of it all.

Nice quiet location and easy to find as check in is on the pier. Nice quiet sandy beach and rooms are of okay standard. Nice walk along the beach to other bars and restaurants. Remember this is an island, don't expect glitz and glamour you are there for the surroundings!

Room was not so bad and we know that on tropical islands conditions can be harder but there was too many small things that was not ok. Dirty water around hotel. Big room but moldy. Small insects in room. Construction works all the time. Randomly no water in toilet and taps. Watered down shampoo and shower gel. They forgot about our taxi boat. My contact lences case gone during room cleaning - problematic till end of our trip.

A disappointing stay
This hotel has lots of potential. However there are several things wrong. We paid $50 a night for Soon Noeng, and it was not worth the money. The rooms were incredibly dirty with dead bugs in the corners, unclean bathrooms with yellow toilet water. We had problems with the electricity in our room flickering like a fire alarm, then cutting out all together, and the hotel staff only moved us after some firm persuasion from us. The next room was equally dirty and unclean. The staff said they would clean the room for us in the morning. After spending the day at the beach, we came home at 4pm to a dirty room - not even the bed or towels had been changed. Note about the beach - the hotel is next to what looks like a sewage pipe flowing into the bay, turning the water a sluggish brown colour in which you wouldn’t want to swim. We had to walk 5 mins up the beach outside another resort to enjoy the beach. We complained to the hotel and said we wished to check out 1 night earlier than paid for due to their lack of customer service, rooms etc. We asked for a refund for our last night we had paid for but didn’t wish to stay - the hotel said they wouldn’t give us our money back at first. After some discussion, they said they would pay us in the morning when we checked out. In the morning, they only gave us $35 back. We argued that we wanted a full nights refund of $50. After a heated discussion, the hotel finally gave us $50 back. They were unapologetic about the whole situation.
