V good if u want a sea view & privacy!
We love the privacy, spacious newly renovated room. Appreciate the wonderful sea view and size of room. Love the Frette bedsheet and Aesop amenities products. Just did not like the Knolls ( breakfast place) being closed for reno. Of course welcomed the free afternoon tea in their Library. Did not like the impatience of the housekeeping staff who expect one to open the door immediately upon knocking.

Best staycation
Absolutely recommended to stay at Capella. This is one of the best staycation we have had. It is also pet friendly. The seaview room is serene and worth the money.

Local paradise…
Location is quiet beautiful and idyllic. Staff and service was fantastic with concierge on WhatsApp. We were fortunate enough to have a garden villa with private seating area and plunge pool, perfect during mini lockdown. Smart TVs, turndown service, light afternoon tea service and evening snacks; perfect for a night in. Although F&B services were off limits we were still able to enjoy the pools and spa for massage. Loved it and would stay again. Thank you Capella for a lovely break. :)

We had an amazing stay at the Capella for our wedding anniversary. The staff was amazing, always ready to help, the room was fantastic and breakfast and tea break delightful. The restrictions related to covid-19 were perfectly handled and we did not feel worried or bothered by them during the stay (we found a spot at the pool easily for instance). Thank you Capella! We will be back.

We always love staying at the Capella but were disappointed with our recent stay and didn’t find the facilities and maintenance up to the usual standard. We chose a Constellation Room as we were keen to have a view and a jacuzzi for a special weekend away. We arrived to find the maintenance panel beside the jacuzzi open with tools and a dirty cloth splayed out. The jacuzzi was also ice cold (which may be how it is intended to be in the Singapore heat but wasn’t what we expected!) The room was clean but the shower didn’t drain and, after 2 minutes of showering, would be full to the brim and spilling over on to the bathroom floor. When the shower finally drained, there was a strong sewage smell in both the shower and the rest of the bathroom which lingered in the room and was very off putting. Repeated requests to the front desk didn’t get this sorted during our stay nor was there really any appropriate reaction indicating an understanding of why this would be a problem and not something a guest should expect to endure for the duration of their stay. A great shame as the view is lovely and it ought to have been one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in at the Capella. Other than the maintenance issues, service, as ever, was excellent, particularly at The Knolls and at the poolside.

Overall a pleasant staycation at Capella. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Facilities are great, with snacks and drinks available at their living room which is accessible to all guest. Only negative feedback is the main door of my room is slightly faulty, the lock is not align and unable to fully lock. There are ants spotted around the bathroom sink too.
