No sound proof. You literally hear EVERYTHING from the hallways and from other rooms. Slept soo poorly even with ear plugs, especially had to go through the couple’s loud mourning next door at 2am. AVOID!!

Very Spartan room...No refrigerator. They turn off the aircon from 8pm until 8am...no fan so a hard to sleep..the walk in rate was promo at half the rate i paid. still to much

Good that the room is spacious. However the lighting was not bright enough. I end up going to work with my socks turned inside out.

Good for simple stay
The reception is manned by good staff. When housekeeping fell short of expectations, the receptionist helped us to sort out the poor quality.

Value for money stay!
The stay at Frangrance hotel was awesome for the price point. It was clean and the bed was comfy! Would recommend if you're looking for a cheap yet relatively well connected hotel

The room was booked last minute as I had a change of plans. The room smelled of smoke, did not have any window/natural light and was small. It was fine as location was easy walking distance to the rail (MRT). WiFi was very poor, struggled to connect and too slow to video call. Overall not great, it was fine to rest at the end of the day and staff were friendly enough, also as mentioned was last minute booking so probably explains the worse than average room, but for the money paid a little disappointing.

Good Room Ambiance
Room was beautiful and in near perfect condition, and the bed was really comfy. I enjoyed my stay very well, as well as a good night sleep. TV quality and selection could be improved though. Room soundproofing was great, but the cleaners have a tendency to shout in the corridor and you can hear them clearly through the door. Apart from that, the neighborhood is very quiet too, and I couldn't hear any traffic during my stay. Coupled with quite a few eating options, just a short walk away, I would recommend this for a short staycation if you enjoy a good romantic and private ambiance.

We love the hotel, the staff and the location. We have saved money for the taxi fare, bus and MRT because it is in the center of all the sights that we wanted to visit. Bed is comfortable and very good ac. The staff are very accommodating. We'll definitely recommend the hotel.

Simple but don't expect too much.
Staff was all right, but our room was small and without windows(properly because the rate was cheap that I got it from mystery hotel). A lit bit far away from airport overall it's fine but I wouldn't come back again.

As a north american travel guest, I assumed all hotel rooms had windows. I was wrong. We first got a tiny room without any windows... not the place for you if you are claustrophobic.

Small and cheap hotel with small and cheap rooms
In Singapore if you pay less than $100 for a room it's probably going to be really small like this place was. Small is ok if you're just staying a few nights and on a budget like we were but this place had a few other inadequacies that will make me not come back. The sheets had stains on them (even after they changed them the new ones had different stains). The bed was sloping on one side. The shower is the same room as the toilet so everything gets wet after you shower. The internet cost $10 for 24 hours and that's only good for one device. If you have an iPhone and a laptop you must buy two passwords (or so they said I never tried)1. And once we got online we were either kicked off after a few minutes or it was too slow to get anything done. At least they refunded our $10. They only good thing about this place was that it's near some local places to eat if you want to sample the local food and it's on a hill that goes up to some great parks so if you like running that's great. But those pros are just coincidental.
