A bit dated and couldn't sit outside to enjoy the pool area in the evenings. Good choice of eating areas.

In the business district and near a metro station, Regent Singapore is in an area with good shopping. National Museum of Singapore and Peranakan Museum are cultural highlights, and travellers looking to shop may want to visit Orchard Road and Bugis Street Shopping District. Travelling with kids? The hotel is beautiful with an open central hall for all floors with a central elevator and passageways to go to the rooms that are all facing the beautiful central open hall. Only problem is that the various receptions in the receptions rooms in the first 2 stories are sometime noisy and can be heard in hall of the rooms facing the central hall because the doors of the rooms are not stopping the noise (poor quality doors for the concept). It is therefore disturbing late in the evening.
