Location is great but thats it, customer service for 5 star hotel nonegsistant, first and only hotel here where we were not greeted, attended or helped upon arrival. Bar area was closed and noone advised. Rooms old and upkeep medioker. Would not condsider a 5 star hotel.

Great location, right next to University Studio, food streets, and candy shops. The hotel rooms and decorations are a bit dated. Checkin speed was very slow. If location is top consideration, pick Hotel Michael. Otherwise can compare with other hotels.

Rooms are great except our request for rooms near the lift for the oldies was not reserved for us despite the fact that we book many days before our trip. some of the servicing staffs are good but some needs more improvement as they are not paying attention on customer. They work & jokes with one another while serving.

Birthday stay
We arrived early and it was raining. Amelia the lady who checked us in chatted to her manager who kindly upgraded us so we could check in straight away. The staff always had a smile on their faces. It is so well situated, walking distance to SEA aquarium, waterworld and universal. The express is right outside and takes you everything else. Would recommend this hotel

Overall its good, except for the parking. We were told by the staff at the entrance that we need to park before we can proceed to checkin. We did so but it was a 20 minutes walk and we had to go round the building with our luggage, becos most entrances from the carpark were locked. Wished it was more convenient.

The checkin took way too long and simple booking of the hotel pool took us round in circles with the staff at checkin asking us to book at the pool, and then the pool guy told us to book from the phone is our room and the call didnt get us any booking as the staff told us to then scan the QR code at the back of our room key, which didnt bring us to the pool booking page either. The F&B voucher was another round and round with poor service from the staff who gave the wrong voucher amount and told us to requeue to have the problem fix when its their fault in the first place. The service totally felt nothing like its worth $500 /night.

Room is very clean, including the bath room and bed sheets. Comfortable bed. Lots of things to do in the resort for all ages. We spent 2 hours in SEA Aquarium, visited Fort Siloso via cable car and sky walk. Plenty of choice for food if you are willing to walk a bit. "Malaysian Food" is disappointing. Spent an evening shopping at Vivo City via monorail. Wifi is good all over. Downside is TV channels without program guide and casting, quite useless.

Upon arrival, the greeters and reception were not that welcoming. We expected at least someone asking, "How can we help you?" Being new to the Resorts World especially during the pandemic, we hoped we would have been asked about what attractions were open and how to get around and book a date and time to visit them. As well as what safety protocols are in place. Also, since it was still the holiday season, there were a few attractions closed for maintenance that we had paid a booking for and didn't find out about until we arrived at the attraction and they were closed. The room was a little run down with parts in shower detached and old shower curtain. The toilet was hard to flush and overall smell and air quality was musky.
