Upon check in, hotel manager stated the “virtual” credit card used by Hotels.com to pay for my room was declined? I produced my receipt from Hotels.com confirming payment on my credit card but that meant nothing to her and she demanded I charge room directly to my charge card, again, and contact Hotels.com. Adding to this, she initially charged me $30 more for the room than rare I was originally charged despite showing her the receipt? I’m the end, after spending over an hour dealing with this issue, Hotels.com refunded me the charge, the hotel charged the originally room rate I booked and refunded me the balance. A headache I don’t expect….
