Communication with this hotel is terrible.
Immediately upon booking, I communicated with the hotel that I would be spending 4 nights in the hotel alone, and requested an additional bed for the last 3 nights. They responded to say that the received the information and would modify my reservation. However, I was charged for extra people for the entirety of my stay (well over $300 too much). I asked them to modify this based on our previous exchanges and they said that I should have modified the reservation through Expedia instead of them, because they are unable to change the reservation or charges. However, they had indicated in our exchanged messages that they had modified the reservation. I have now discussed the situation with Expedia, which contacted the hotel twice because it is the hotel that managed the payment, so Expedia can do nothing. The hotel is unwilling to do anything to address the situation.
Moreover, before my arrival, I contacted them for late check in information and was told that someone would be at the front desk. I asked for the information anyhow (and it was provided), which was good because the front desk was closed upon my arrival (30 minutes prior to the time they told me it would close).
The hotel itself is good, the communication, however, is awful.
