The staff was extremely friendly especially for the night before my flight, they helped me find an ATM that would work with my debit card so that I can pay for my taxi the next day. I love the amenities like the 24 hour free beverages and snacks. The room I got was so spacious and stylish. Ximending was within 10 minutes away. I highly recommend!!

During my recent trip, I had the pleasure of staying at Roaders Hotel, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The room I stayed in was comfortable and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was cozy, the bathroom was clean, and the overall ambiance of the room was inviting. One thing that stood out to me about Roaders Hotel was its convenient location. Situated in the heart of the city, it was within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it easy for me to explore and experience everything the area had to offer. I also appreciated the hotel's facilities, which were both well-equipped and convenient to use. The complimentary Wi-Fi was a nice touch, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay. Overall, my stay at Roaders Hotel was nothing short of wonderful. The comfortable accommodations, convenient location, and attentive service exceeded my expectations, and I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to the Taipei, Taiwan.

Great stay for a short trip
I had the single room without windows and the room is tiny. However, the bathroom was fully sized and it was suitable for a short stay. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast/lounge area was amazing. Such a nice place to stay

The location was great - close to transit and a night market - and we appreciated the snacks. The room was very small, almost no space to put our luggage (and we travel with carry-on bags only!)

Great Little Hotel in a Good Location
This was a nice small hotel room in Taipei that was about 10 minutes walk from the Train Station and 5 minutes walk from the Walking district. The staff let us drop off our luggage in the downstairs lounge area because we were early for check in. They were very polite and spoke enough English to help us out. There is a Family Mart right outside the door and they provide free snacks in the basement lounge. The only thing about this room was that the bed wasn't particularly comfortable, but it wasn't the worst one we had in our two weeks in Taiwan. If you don't mind the small room, I would recommend this location.

The staff at the front desk were all very cheerful and friendly. I felt quite welcomed there. There was one person in particular, Heidi, who was very helpful with suggestions on where to go and where to shop and she even took the time to map out the route for me. Terrific service!

First time staying checking in here and definitely blown away by this superb hotel!🤩🤩 The hotel is nearer to XMD station exit 6 but I would recommend to get off from exit 4 as there is an escalator for bulky luggages. Note that exit 6 is a flight of stairs. After exiting from exit 4, its maybe just around 8mins walk. (turn left and walk straight along the main road. When you see Sushiro and 7-eleven on your right hand side, make a right turn and Roaders Hotel is just steps away ☺️) Similar to other reviews, the basement lobby is a plus pointer. Along with the free food and drinks thats offered, ambiance is cosy and you can takeaway food from nearby XMD to chill out and dine at the lobby while catching a game or two at their basketball or street fighter machines. Hotel is on a friendly green effort environmental hence there is no daily housekeeping, which works for us. 😊 If you require housekeeping, just inform the lobby staffs one day in prior and they will help record it down. All is explained well during check in. Staffs are all very friendly and they are definitely happy to help us on any enquiries that we had. Thank you to all the staffs at Roaders that made our stay a very comfortable one!❤️

Fantastic stay at Roaders - would come back again.
Pros: Location was superb - close enough to walk to Ximenting but not so close that you are too close to the noise. Customer Service at the hotel was top notch - shout out to Rapheal & Heidi. Rapheal for helping me when my tap card wouldnt work. Heidi for coming up to me to let me know gently that i should process my check out to avoid late check out fees (we left the room but i got distracted by my son at the wait area). Amenities - Hotel is generous with the amenities and snacks and drink that is available 24/7 at the lobby/wait area. Cons: I am not sure i like the 'eco-friendly' concept where the room is cleaned only every 3rd day.

Great value for money
i had a great stay at Roaders, friendly & attentive staff who helped with late check in and took care of my luggage after i checked out. freebies at receptions at all times are a very genuine gesture and well appreciated, also brings a very good atmosphere with other travellers, room though it was slightly smaller than expected it was well equipped, bed was comfortable and clean and shower too.it is conveniently located to the main day/ night market, shops and well communicated to the MRT station, also close to bus stop for day trips which i found very helpful as a solo traveller, also close to other ammenities. the breakfast place recommended across street was absolutely amazing, it is run by locals and it was delicious. i will definitely stay next time i visit Taipei.

I’m so happy to have chosen to stay at Roaders. The kids loved the lobby filled with games and snacks. Then in terms of location, you cannot find a better spot. It’s just next to MRT stations and a few blocks away to Taipei main station. Ximending is across the street. What more can you ask!

Overall it was an excellent staying experience. Room was spacious enough for a solo traveller to open luggage and still move around the room. Toilet and shower were seperated. The reception staffs were all friendly, welcoming and helpful with all kinds of queries. Lobby had snacks, popcorn, water, beverage, sandwiches in mornings which were all free of charge as well as rice dumplings as i visited during the dragon boat festival. Definitely one of my preferred options in future when i visit Taipei.

Stayed at the last minute after a flight en route to Tainan. It’s as advertised. People complaining about the bed need to realize hard beds are what’s up in far East Asia. Awesome shower that should’ve been advertised. Hey, it’s right next to Ximen and Taipei Main station. What’s not to like?

No housekeeping at this hotel
Cons : 270SGD/night hotel but unable to provide housekeeping. If you are someone who need people to clean your room daily then don't bother here. They only do basic clearing of rubbish and changing towel if you need. Aircon is totally not cold at all. Didn’t bother to call the front desk because we’ve already unpacked our luggages and we are damn tired & lazy to move to another room. And there’s mosquito in the room which is damn annoying and bite us all over our legs because we did not cover ourself with blankets due to aircon not really working. Pros : Concierge customer is good. There’s free snacks & drinks at their basement. Short walking distance to ximending. 7 eleven conveniently located beside the hotel

Would stay again
Very conveniently located between ximending and taipei main station. Family mart and alot of massage stores just downstairs. Room was small but just nice for a couple. Basement had free snacks, water and drinks. Only bad point is no daily cleaning of room
