There was drilling, hammering and construction noise on all of 4 days of our stay. The drilling on our first evening for 45 minutes, and hammering noise every morning starting at 7:45 am. Then on our last day, we had a large water leak from the ceiling into the entry hallway to our room, leaving a huge puddle of water. I called the front desk and they immediately sent engineers to our room, followed by cleaning staff. Regarding the construction noise, the hotel tried to minimize after we called the front desk. They also provided some accomodations after we called the front desk, handling it satisfactorily. Service was excellent.

Beautifully decorative. Sheets and the bed are sofa and comfy. Staffs are courteous. The location is very convenient. Will definitely book again.

Amazing hotel in a great location! Definitely recommend getting a Taipei 101 view room for that iconic view. Hotel has an amazing pool area and the view from the breakfast restaurant at the top of the building is awesome. The location almost on top of the City Hall MRT station makes this a great place to get around the city from. Only minor gripe is that the breakfast selection is a little small - we've been to other W hotels which had a wider selection.

A hip hotel in the center of action The W is in a very busy area of Taipei. If you love being near nightlife and action this place is for you! Great breakfast, attentive staff and large property, this is a great hotel in Taipei very close to Taipei 101.

Extremely loud noises on first night, could not sleep due to loud noises and had to be moved. New room was better, but I had allergies to the couch area of the room, which was probably due to dust or uncleanliness. Overall not really worth the money

I believe there's an opportunity for further training for the junior staff to ensure the continuation of the establishment's commendable 5-star standards. Specifically, I noticed the dining area on the 31st floor could benefit from enhanced cleaning and more meticulous management, especially during breakfast hours. I'm confident that with a little attention to these details, the establishment can sustain its excellent reputation.

W Taipei is my go to hotel every time I come to Taiwan. The hotel is really pleasing to look at. The colors go well, the staff is all friendly and helpful. The area the hotel is in has great shopping and food options. Walkable to a lot of places. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who like chic hotels

Our first stay in the W hotel of Taipei but won’t be our last. Great location for shoppings, excellent services and easy dining options all around. It’s a very spacious and clean hotel. Love the nighttime walks to Taipei 101 in 10 mins.

Surprised to smell mildew in our room, and more surprised to find the front desk staff reluctant to acknowledge the problem and to give us another room w/o that stench. Felt like we were dealing with a motel management. Housekeepers were excellent, even gave us a dehumidifier to alleviate the moldy smell. The concierge staff was outstanding, going out of their way to help us get some baseball tickets!

Five star hotel but one star service! W Taipei hotel locates in convenient location that is next to subway and bus station. However, the service was terrible. On the day of check-in, we waited for a hour but our luggages were not delivered to our room. We had to take them by ourselves. At the second day there was not room service. We needed to call to get clean towels. A bug was found on the desk. This hotel is not recommended.

Outstanding stay
Love the every detail of the design for the room. They are so functional. The location is really good as the hotel is close to the MRT station, bus stop, shopping mall, convenience store, coffee shop, etc. The support from the staff really impressed us. All staff were very supportive and willing to help. The most surprising thing was that there was an engineer available at midnight to help us fix our luggage. Thank you so much! Not pretty happy that we need to transfer at the 10th floor to switch to another elevator to go to the guest room. In overall, our stay was excellent.

too dark. got bathtub but No bath salt or soap provided. no supervisor checking on what has been left out without replace when doing room service. left out floor mat for bath or shower...compare to the price of the room, these should not happened at all
