I didn’t really believe the many negative reviews about this place before coming, and now I truly regret it. This place should never be available as an option on Expedia, not even for a short overnight stay. It is truly the worst place I have ever been to.

It is not really an hotel, we have to contact some one to get the key. In these conditions, an airbnb certainly shows a better ratio quality price. No glass in the room, no bedside lamp and even no paper in the bathroom the last day! The room is really basic but quite large and the location is very good.

Last resort
The only pluses are that it is in a very good area and it was the cheapest I found. Although he was not happy of how much I paid him because he said it was a mistake from their side, apparently of it not change the price from low season to high season. In four nights no one came to clean or prepare the room and I had to use the same towel. Just one towel and no carpet from when you exit the shower. And I was really angry the last day. I had an early flight so I was rushing to catch the airport coach. Went to use the common toilet with the surprise of no toilet paper. Thank God I had the hand luggage with me since I closed the room to keep going out. I used my tissues I had with me. I wouldn't know what to do if it was not the case especially was all ready dressed up and rushing not to lose the coach! There was never anyone at the desk. Apparently when someone came to stay just came to meet them and just took off. Would only recommend for one or two nights only when they forget to change the price to a higher one.

Buono!
I can’t speak Italian. The owner couldn’t speak English. We sorted it out though! He was very friendly, helpful and informative despite our obvious language barrier! The local area has plenty of bars and restaurants and is very close to the subway, trams and main train station (Porta Nuova). Also not far from the river and many of the main attractions of Turin.
