"Sofitel on Renmin Square exceeded our expectations in the quality and spaciousness of the room: for example, it had two toilets and a seperate Tub/Shower arrangement). Additionally, all of the staff (expecially Leo the concierge) made us feel welcomed and were warm and friendly. "I think this was the best stay in the whole China trip for me. I enjoyed the place, shower & bath, comfortable bed, breakfast, and hospitality staff. The location was a bit distanced from the station but taxi makes a big difference to come back here. I wish Japanese restaurant was open but I enjoyed the Chinese restaurant at Sofitel as well. "
