Teaming up with local hotel partners, Expedia and Hotels.com offer assistance to the healthcare workforce through discounted rates at select hotels<\/em><\/p>\n

Singapore, 09 April 2020<\/strong> \u2013 To show appreciation for Singapore healthcare professionals playing an invaluable role in the fight against COVID-19, Expedia Group brands Hotels.com and Expedia are teaming up with hotel partners to provide rooms at substantially-discounted rates for healthcare professionals to self-isolate, rest, and recuperate.<\/p>\n

This is part of the new Singapore Healthcare Heroes programme, introduced by Expedia Group, which offers special rate plans through participating hotel partners exclusively for healthcare professionals and will be available for booking starting 10 April. Fourteen properties have joined in to support and assist Singapore healthcare professionals with their temporary accommodation needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Singapore Healthcare Heroes Programme reflects Expedia Group\u2019s ongoing commitment towards supporting our hotel industry partners while supporting the frontline healthcare professionals battling against COVID-19.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Singapore Healthcare Heroes Programme extends to all COVID-19 facing healthcare professionals who are employees of hospitals, clinics, home care facilities, emergency medical services and ambulance services, as well as the Ministry of Health.<\/p>\n

These special self-book rates will be available for check-in dates up to and including 31 May 2020. A valid proof of employment with photo identification and booking confirmation will be required at check-in as part of the verification to qualify for the special rate plan at the participating hotels. The participating hotel partners will also implement dedicated arrangements for healthcare professionals to not only enforce safe social distancing, but also ensure minimised contact with other hotel guests.<\/p>\n

How to book for hotels under the Singapore Healthcare Heroes Programme:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Click on any of the participating hotels listed above<\/li>\n
  2. Select preferred dates for your stay to view room availability.<\/li>\n
  3. Click \u201creserve\u201d on your preferred room under the special \u2018Singapore Healthcare Heroes\u2019 room type.<\/li>\n
  4. Key in personal details and provide a credit card for verification purpose (Note: c<\/em>redit card details are required for reservation purpose only. Full payment to be made at property upon check-in).<\/em><\/li>\n
  5. Complete booking. A confirmation email will be sent to the specified email account.<\/li>\n
  6. Upon checking in at the hotel, quote your booking confirmation number and provide your hospital ID for booking verification (<\/em>For rooms that will be shared by multiple guests, all residing guests will need to show proof of hospital ID during the check-in process)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
