It tasted very homely because of the soupy\/broth-like taste. Very comforting. And the crispy, fragrant bread exterior is the perfect companion.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5939\" src=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.sg\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/shrimp-rolls.jpg\" alt=\"shrimp-rolls\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This shrimp rolls are a must eat too!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5936\" src=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.sg\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/taiwan-oyster-omelette.jpg\" alt=\"taiwan-oyster-omelette\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is Taiwan&#8217;s version of an oyster omelette. I think I much prefer Singapore&#8217;s version.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5941\" src=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.sg\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/anping-old-street-taiwan-2.jpg\" alt=\"anping-old-street-taiwan\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then we chilled at a nearby cafe because 1) we&#8217;re done with exploring Anping Old Street and 2) The weather was ridiculously scorching. You can also change the colour according to your preference.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>The Starhaus Suite<\/h2>\n<p>We were brought around the hotel to check out the other rooms and my jaw dropped when I entered this suite.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5967\" src=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.sg\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/starhaus-hotel-kaohsiung-blog-19.jpg\" alt=\"starhaus-hotel-kaohsiung-blog\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><\/p>\n<p>AND THEN THE BEST PART HAHA.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant! You know why?<\/p>\n<p>Because this restaurant is also a snack bar that is open 24hrs for guests, perfect for someone like me who&#8217;s pretty much almost aways hungry\/peckish. But we had to cancel that because it was raining, which meant we could only head to Formosa Boulevard Station before exploring Ruifeng Night Market.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6005\" src=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.sg\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/formosa-boulevard-station.jpg\" alt=\"formosa-boulevard-station\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Formosa Boulevard Station. It&#8217;s one of the attractions in Kaohsiung because it&#8217;s known for its &#8220;Dome of Light&#8221;,\u00a0\u00a0the largest glass work in the world, designed by Italian artist Narcissus Quagliata. They&#8217;re known for their very thick cutlet, but aside from that, it&#8217;s also very JUICY, very TENDER and very WELL-MARINATED!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.com.sg\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/ruifeng-night-market-4.jpg\" alt=\"ruifeng-night-market\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Without a doubt, the best chicken cutlet I&#8217;ve ever had, and a winner by a huge huge mile. Every bite plunged my tastebuds into the most delightfully delectable sensory experience. I regret not getting two. It&#8217;s that good. It can only be found either at Dadong Night Market in Tainan or Ruifeng Night Market in Kaosiung, so please if you&#8217;re in this places, please do yourself and your tastebuds a huge favour; hunt this stall down and try it. You will regret if you don&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>P.S: For the spiciness level, go for \u5c0f\u8fa3 (xiao la).
