Climatic range varies greatly across India’s geography, from tropical to alpine. Many regions are hot, the north gets cold, the center is hot and dry, the south is tropical, and hillstations are cool.<\/p>\n

Avoid summer as heat often climbs above 40 degrees. It easily becomes intolerable.<\/p>\n

Hillstations are always cool, thus popular during summer. Very busy from May-Jun during school holidays.<\/p>\n

Winter months tone down the searing heat in South india. Peak time to enjoy the beaches of Goa and Gokarna.<\/p>\n

Bright side of the rainy season? Lush green landscapes and dramatic waterfalls.<\/p>\n

Diving in Maldives: Poor visibility underwater during the monsoon season (May – November). But better odds for shark sightings.<\/p>\n

Mini peak seasons: Harvest festivals and Hindu festivals are busy periods for local travel and pilgrimages.<\/p>\n
