Picking up our travellers then drive to Dazu county, a small town in north-western Chongqing, our destination would be Baoding ancient rock carings. The history of Baoding carvings dates back 900 years ago, it's the largest and best preserved ancient stone sculptures and the best-known Buddhism holy site in southern China. In 1999, Baoding Carvings was inscribed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO. Those statues were engraved on cliff side to facilitate displaying and being worshiped. It iconically and aesthetically pretty much represents the outstanding ancient Chinese artistic and sculpture craftsmanship achievements. We'll do an immersive learning tour inside with our private guiding service. The car ride from city centre to Baoding will be roughly 1.5 hour and excursion takes 2 hours inside. All travellers need to transfer to the interal shuttle bus and golf car which is mandatory in order to “cultural relics preservation” purpose.
