Know before you book

  • This activity is not available children 5 and younger.
  • You must be 19 years of age and present a valid photo ID in order to consume alcohol.
  • Maximum group size is 4 people.
  • You must be able to climb and descend stairs and walk on unpaved or uneven terrain.
  • This activity is not wheelchair accessible.
  • Accommodation is at the Valemount Holiday Inn Valemount, the Canalta in Banff, and the Mountain View Cabins in Golden.
  • If you are travelling solo, you will be asked to share a room with a person of the same gender.
  • Tour stops and included meal days vary. Depending on the tour date, the itinerary may be covered in reverse.
  • Tours depart at 7 AM on day 1, with return to Vancouver at approximately 7 PM on day 4.
  • Check-in is 20 minutes prior to the booked tour start time.

What you can expect

Day 1 Your journey begins with a ride out from Vancouver and into the Canadian interior. Along the way, stop in the small town of Hope and the city of Kamloops, and then get a look at Spahats Falls. Once you arrive in Valemount and check in to your hotel and have an included all-you-can-eat dinner.

Day 2 After breakfast, set out for a ride along the scenic Icefields Parkway to Banff. Stop at Mount Robson, visit the Athabasca Falls, admire the Columbia Icefields, and take in the scenery at Peyto Lake and Bow Lake before you check into your premium hotel. In the evening, your guide organises a night out in the awesome town of Banff.

Day 3 Rise and shine for your best chance to view wildlife on a driving tour to Lake Minnewanka and Two Jack Lake. Get some amazing views with stops at famous Lake Louise from the lakeshore and Gondola. Then enjoy an all-you-can-eat lunch and dessert. Enjoy Moraine Lake and canoeing on Emerald Lake. When you arrive at the Mountain View Cabins, have a barbecue dinner and roast some S'mores over the campfire.

Day 4 Begin your journey home with a stop at the historic “Last Spike” and learn about the trans continental Canadian railway. Next is a lunch stop in the Nicola valley. With our bellies full we’ll travel down Highway 5 through the beautiful Coquihalla Mountain Pass home.
