Baia del Saùco, also known as Baia del Vallone, is one of the most unspoiled and beautiful spots on the coast south of Agropoli. The Mediterranean maquis vegetation is completely immersed in its pristine waters. This natural harbour has been in use since ancient times, and artefacts such as anchors and amphorae from the Roman era have been discovered here; these artefacts are now housed in the Palazzo Civico delle Arti.
