Hamilton Island

Coming in at number one out of the Whitsundays’ 74 islands is Hamilton Island. The biggest and the best – Hamilton Island doesn’t make it a hard choice.

Unsurprisingly, plenty of native critters have made the island their home, too. Meet and greet koalas and kangaroos on wildlife-watching tours or hike through the rainforest to a hilltop peak and count neighbouring islands in the distance. Beaches plucked straight from a postcard and pristine coral cays provide the backdrop for snorkelling, yachting and kayaking adventures.
