We were put on the 3rd floor at the very end of the hall. The lifts weren’t working and even though they offered to help with the bags, it was quite a challenge to go up each time we left. In addition, it was quite warm on the 3rd level, even with the windows open and fan on. We also had to park at the castle parking any walk with our luggage to the hotel. It wasn’t far, a 5 min walk, but still not the most convenient. Other than the parking, stairs and temperature, it was a very convenient location. Close to the royal mile, the castle, and tons of shops and food.
