"The hotel ticks a lot of boxes for a Calais hotel, it’s convenient for Le Shuttle, has charging points and is dog friendly with lots of places to walk to dog. Service was average we arrived early at 2pm and it was a flat NO to early check in without any effort to expidite it. I ordered drinks at the bar and the waitress was polishing cutlery she saw me but made me wait 5 mins whilst she finished the whole lot of it. Rooms were clean and well maintained. "

"The hotel is in a great location, very quiet and safe. The part of the hotel we stayed in was rather dated. The pool and spa was excellent although the 5pm restriction of children is too early. The restaurant was mediocre, poor menu for kids. Staff pleasant but little English. The Hotel reception staff were brilliant."

"We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Check in quick and simple. No need to register our car as it was a secure and private car park and no parking charge. The car park was locked at about 22:00hrs but a code was provided to allow exit/entry if needed. We had booked a superior room and it was. "As a Part of the Eurostar tunnel strike, we unexpectedly wound up in Calais and were well taken care of by this no frills hotel!
