Unfortunately for us at this time, there was one of those infernal French farmer strikes, totally blocking the A1 autoroute, and all entries into Paris! Delay upon delay! "We have 2 persons for 1 night stay and found that this hotel was too basic. There was shampoo, but no soap in the shower. The bathroom did not have wash cloths. The room did not have a clock. And, there was no mattress but a foam pad on the bed. With all this said, the staff was very nice."

"Young lady at check in was excellent, on entering our room I drew back the window curtain and was covered in dust and fluff from the back of the curtain....... The bathroom and the rest of the room were fine. Breakfast was plentiful, scrambled egg, bread, pastries, conserves, fresh fruit and yogurts. We had dinner the first night, it was sufficient. Comfortable bed and air conditioning in the room. Would I stay there again, yes."
