"Second time at Bemate apartments but this time stayed for 3 nights. I didn’t realise towels were not changed during stay so found this really disappointing. When requested from reception, they sent the housekeeper who refused to give us more towels. Reception staff are welcoming and respond to messages. Apartment was clean and modern with a lovely terrace."

"Ely at the front desk is the best you can get in BCN. Everyone in the hotel is very friendly and helpful. Everything was seamless from booking to check out. Grocery store is a 2min walk, train station is a 10min walk, Parc Guell is also down the road. a lot of food and coffee options. Very safe to walk at night. Just a minor recommendation would be to add shelves and hooks in the bathroom so it's easier to store toiletries. "

"This place was horrible. Our mattress was broken. There was a huge divot in it and we could feel the slats through the “mattress.” We were forced to sleep, if that word actually applies, on less than half (of a full-sized bed) so as to avoid falling into the divot.
