“great week long vacation”
Very kid friendly hotel, paid extra for regency club access which was worth it. Great breakfast, drinks and snacks, appetizer and veggies at night, even cordials and dessert later. Inexpensive alcoholic drinks as well. The pools are warm and wonderful, lovely view from our room. We had storytime and s'mores with a local author. Free pony rides for younger children on saturday and Sunday. Beautiful hiking trails along cottonwoods and rio grande, saw two coyotes. Staff will take you to your car in golf carts. very close to Albuquerque and Santa Fe. I recommend doing scenic jemez trail loop as a outside activity. Great way to take in the area. We spent a week and would do it again!
“Very Relaxing”
Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. We stayed for 4 nights. Each morning the wait staff at the restaurant asked us about our previous day and even gave us tips about festivals going on in the local area. The Spa was great. My husband raved about how the massage therapist listen to him and knew exactly what he needed.
“Well worth the $$$”
Resort staff was very friendly! The area surrounding the resort was peacefully quiet! We truly enjoyed our stay! When we get back to New Mexico, we would love to stay at this resort again! :)
“Superb”
A very friendly, well-managed, fun, total experience. I would highly recommend this hotel. It's atmosphere was wonderful... the smell of sage in the lobby, fireplaces, outdoor kivas welcoming you, awesome food, very comfortable, very friendly, courteous staff, lots of fun for kids as well as adults and surrounded by the beauty of New Mexico.
“Awesome Resort”
My husband and I loved this resort. It was just beautiful, and, I know this might sound odd, it smelled wonderful as well. Everywhere in the hotel it smelled like the Pinon Pines which are so abundant in the area. We only dined in the Santa Ana Cafe (once for dinner and once for breakfast), but the service there was excellent. The concierge was extremely helpful to us in planning our excursion to Bandelier Ntl. Monument. We would have taken the highway there and back, but she directed us to take a back road there that was breathtaking.
“Tamaya rocks”
Our first time in NM and we were blown away. Everything we wanted was at our doorstep. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Outdoor dining view was magnificent. The Indian storyteller provided great insight into their culture.
“Excellent service and staff”
I return to this location every year - partially because of its location and also because of its excellence. They have improved the view from the lounge (now you can see the spectacular mountains) and the service is always top notch!
“New Mexico Hidden Beauty”
Let me preface this by stating that this is not an inexpensive facility, so let's forget money. It is however both beautiful and in a almost breathtaking location. To the east is both the Rio Grande and the Sandia mountain range. Sunrise over the peaks is worth getting up early for. The hotel is Santa Fe style construction and fits into the landscape instead of dominating it. Both restaurants have a view, with the Corn Maiden looking out to the mountains. The golf course is well maintained. Bikes, horses, walking trails, all available. In a word "peaceful". If you want more excitement, there is a casino close by and it's only 15-20 minutes to Albuquerque or 35 minutes to Santa Fe. This was my second stay and I'll probably return.
“Awsome hotel! Can't wait til next get away!!”
Just needed a get away place. It's not far from home but tucked away and quiet. Beautiful hotel and courtyard. Everyone was super super nice and helpfull! This was the cheapest way to book the hotel.
“nice hotel”
Gorgeous views of mountains. ask for the trail to take a hike.
