Wonderful hotel I'd definitely recommend it to everyone and If I go back to amsterdam I will be staying at the movenpick. Staff where great, room was great and not to mention the food was superb. Although they should have a smoking option in some of the rooms.

“Worth upgrading”

Worth upgrading to executive room if you can get 40% off as we did. Breakfast included (widest range of breakfast imaginable) and happy (2) hours between 5-7 free booze and nice nibbles each night. Plus spectacular views from top two floors.

“Well worth it”

As a 50th birthday present for my wife I upgraded to an executive suite. Absolutely fantastic ! The hotel is clean tidy and staff are excellent. Executive rooms are on top floors and have a fantastic outlook over the city. The executive facilities include free minibar, free wifi, breakfast and free drinks and snacks between 5 and 7pm. Well worth the extra to go for executive suite.

“Excellent Hotel - Super Easy to Get Around Town”

First off the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean - no smoking - and LARGE. The views are great. Restaurant is OK but then you would really need to go downtown for good food (Rijstafel at Indrapura in Rembrandtsplein for sure). As for getting around. Take the hotel shuttle or walk to Centraal Station. I recommend taking the tram (No 26) right across from the hotel. Buy a whole day tram pass when at Centraal Station (about 7 Euros) and scoot around town. Then catch the tram back for a blissful rest.
