"This was the perfect place for us to catch up on sleep after our arrival from Canada to Ireland. Sights, restaurants, and train were all walkable distances. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend "

"Really is a place to stay if you want the resort feel and not leave the property. For how expensive it is I was shocked there wasn't a free bus that would take you into town, the room also had a few issues (nothing huge) like the shower head was dropping off the holder so water just kind of spilled out and one of the outlets wouldn't let you even plug something in. Not a huge deal but at €220 euro a night, I would expect a little better. There is a €5 tray charge for breakfast room service but...

"Staff very friendly & helpful. Water in the taps was lukewarm not cold and the food in the bar was excellent but was charged full menu price instead of the early bird offer. Would Stay again as very convenient if visiting Athlone."
