The hotel is within city wall and short walk to all attractions. There is an elevator and friendly front desk. There are two windows in the room one can open in a pleasant and very quiet courtyard but it let’s mosquitoes in.The overall feeling that this is not really a hotel but managed apartments - no ice on the floor, no place to hang around except the small bar. The room is extremely small, a few hangers but no dresser or shelves or drawers at all- have to live out is suitcases. The transparent shower in the middle of the room feels very strange. There are no side tables by the bed but two small soft stools. They did not change bedding for 6 days!!

Very nicely appointed room - good amenities, very clean, large bed, large shower, and friendly, professional staff. However room itself was small sized - very limited space for our luggage.

Gorgeous hotel! Amazing room design, very spacious, contemporary, quiet and clean. The breakfast was FIVE STARS - delicious wide range of options from yogurt to fruit to local honey and pastries. The front desk staff were kind and helpful, and the surrounding area is very pedestrian friendly - you’re 5 minutes from the main square of Avignon with all the sights! Can’t ask for better.

The property is tired and outdated. The room was very small and spartan. The coffee in the room was instant and there was no coffee maker. The shower floor was very slippery.

The building is not tired or dated, because it is a Haussmanian building from the 18th century, and it was completely renovated for the construction of the hotel.Yes the coffee is instant and you have a boiler in the room to heat the water.Now if you absolutely needed a coffee machine you could have asked us and we could have asked you to change your room for a DELUXE category because they are equipped with one, same for the shower if it was too sleepr for your just tell us and we can put a carpet non-slip in.Our team is there for help you have just to ask, our priority is the guest .That's why we not agree with your comment is not resuming our way of welcoming and taking care of our customers.

Bathroom amenities Ok. Conditioner and lotion but no shampoo. Bed very comfortable. Communal spaces less comfortably appointed. Reservation for two but only one bottle of water provided. Great shower. Welllocated near Tourist Info Center which is the pick up spot for many tours. Great value for price.

The property is comfortable and very close to some really great dining. There really isn't a bar or restaurant, there is only an area near the font desk for a drink. I did not have their breakfast, so i can't comment. The staff was very nice and helpful!

Enjoyed our stay this spring. Room was great only downside was the A/C hadn’t been turned on for the year yet and we had to open the windows. The bar across the street was noisy and the trash trucks start around 5am!!

Fantastic stay! The interior was very well remodeled with beautiful combination of green and pink. The room was spacious, clean, modern and had everything I needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent too. Very high quality and tasty. One downside was that there were many unavailable menus for the room service. Yet the food was great, especially the sausage!

Perfect location for dining options and site seeing. Able to drive to check in and drop off bags before parking car at underground lot just a couple of blocks away. Glad we didn’t take both of our large suitcases because the room was small, but we knew that when we booked. Interesting use of space to have the glassed-in shower behind the headboard!

The hotel is centrally located and is within walking distance to all major attractions. It’s just off the Main Street with lots of shops and eating places. Hotel de Cambis is a great place to stay. They upgraded my room for free and it was rather spacious with a beautiful view. The hotel is very clean, and the staff and extremely helpful. It is a few hundred meters from the Avignon Centre train (and bus) station, just inside the old city. There are more restaurants than you can count within 10 minutes walk (some are 1 minute away) with convenient shopping.

Great hotel
The hotel is amazing. The decoration, the beds super comfy, the bathroom, the view, the service, the location. They don’t have parking lot and you have to walk like 10 min to get to a public parking lot. My only but is that the room that we choose which had an amazing view of the city, suuuuper noisy really early in the morning and in the night. So chose a room more private so you can sleep well.

Elegant hotel, friendly staff and an easy place to stay if you want to explore Avignon by foot. The buffet breakfast was good quality and plentiful (bread, pastries, cheese, charcuterie, yoghurts, juices, eggs) & the wine bar is lovely too! I would definitely stay again.

Pleasant oasis in quaint and charming Avignon! Great place to stay to see southern France! The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating, going the extra distance, all within a medieval walled city frequented by seven popes. Great town to wander, great hotel to return to relax.

Absolutely great stay. Every staff member we encountered from front desk to housekeeping was beyond friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. Our room was on the top floor, was spacious and modern with a lovely little balcony and one of the most comfortable beds we’ve had in any hotel. The air conditioning worked extremely well and blew very cold. My only piece of feedback would be that it would be nice to have a mini fridge in the room, but I think that’s my fault as I saw afterward that you can request a mini fridge during booking.
